sylofox Posted 21 February 2014 Posted 21 February 2014 Do some of you moaning really want us to go up. If we do depending how the fixtures come out we could have 8 moved (euro fixtures) to sunday before we start. Sky will have us on 4 times min I would suggest. 2 at the start 2 at the end if we look like going down. Also praps 2 more games possible for domestic cups if not more. Your moaning now and we are winning top of the league and 2 be expected fixtures will be moved. What do you want from our great club? Or do we have to put up with your moaning every week next season.
Stadt Posted 21 February 2014 Posted 21 February 2014 We'd probably end up being on TV less in the prem.
Libertine Dream Posted 21 February 2014 Posted 21 February 2014 Think I worked it out that Cardiff have had 6 moved. They also have less Tuesday night games and whilst this doesn't bother me, it means a greater proportion of their games have been Saturday 3pm in PL
sylofox Posted 21 February 2014 Author Posted 21 February 2014 Yes we will I would think too. But as I said european fixtures for our rivals could come into play. Plus more prem sides make the last 8 of domestic cups. League cup final 1 game semi and quaters of the fa cup that could be 3 games. factor in champions league and europa league if we are unlucky then 4 min sky games. If we are unlucky thats double figures before sky start. Yes playing devils advocate. Just want to know what the moaners are going to do worst scenario.

sylofox Posted 21 February 2014 Author Posted 21 February 2014 We could also if we go up rip the league another one finis 6th and end up on tv more ( not likely though)
Fox92 Posted 21 February 2014 Posted 21 February 2014 Makes no difference considering how many they whack on now. Do I want us to stay in this division to "avoid" sky? No... The games most likely to be moved will be United, Liverpool, City etc anyway (sky love a "big four super Sunday"). I get sky love to move games for tv, I just wish they would show more consideration to fans who attend games. It's easy walking across the road to the pub to watch a game; it's difficult getting to Southampton on a Monday night etc. And when they have the audacity to say "atmospheres is a bit flat".

There used to be a day when boxing day fixtures were local derby games where possible. we would play where possible florisy the sheep or cov scum. other bank holiday fixtures a little the same. Do you see us old fvckers moaning cos it's boro away. As I said it's not a game it's business and sorry sky pay more into it than we do. Get used to it it will only get worse. It will only change if no one at any club buy's a season ticket and that will never happen. But before you spend your hard earned can you get Saturday, Sunday, Monday and a tues/weds fixture evey week if moved. You pay your money and you know the rules. As loose as they maybe to fit in with the cash cow we are all chasing.
kingfox Posted 22 February 2014 Posted 22 February 2014 Monday night games are going to be so much fun

Dan Posted 22 February 2014 Posted 22 February 2014 We'd probably end up being on TV less in the prem. I'm 99% sure we would. Just had a look and we've been on more than most of the Premier, or will have done by May. Absolute joke

As loose as they maybe to fit in with the cash cow we are all chasing. I'm not moaning; you started this thread and asked for opinions so I posted mine. As Wookie said though, I think we'll have more Saturday 3pm kick offs in the Premier League because I'll echo what I said above, they love to constantly change teams such as Manchester United and Manchester City. Also, have Sky put in more money than fans? Since the Football League was started are we talking, or since the creation of the Premier League? Sadly, it will only get worse, we all know that. But regardless of how much Sky put in, lets get one thing straight that football without fans would be nothing. Fans have been around longer than Sky, and will be around longer than Sky.
Voll Blau Posted 22 February 2014 Posted 22 February 2014 Get used to it it will only get worse. Brilliant attitude that.
jammie82uk Posted 24 February 2014 Posted 24 February 2014 People think we have it bad how many times have Leeds had a 12:15 kickoff on a Saturday
