Corky Posted 25 February 2014 Posted 25 February 2014 Leicester 3-2 Tottenham (Hammond Hughes De Vries) How the fvck did that happen?
Guest MattP Posted 25 February 2014 Posted 25 February 2014 lol I remember Thracian devising a formation with Hammond and Sappleton up front that was going to "walk the championship" He was absolutely shit, what the hell were we doing back then?
Donut Posted 25 February 2014 Posted 25 February 2014 He was a Levein signing and boy could he judge talent. He had a long spell on the sidelines while he was here because he "fell off a quad bike" apparently according to a few in the know Leicester 3-2 Tottenham (Hammond Hughes De Vries) How the fvck did that happen? That was a bloody good game though wasnt it!
LC/FC Posted 26 February 2014 Posted 26 February 2014 Leicester 3-2 Tottenham (Hammond Hughes De Vries) How the fvck did that happen? TBF I think that performance had us all believing we had a half decent side in there somewhere, alas yet another false dawn in that last decade. I remember this game because of an extremely boring night at work and it was on TV, so with nothing to do me and a colleague watched the game and I proceeded to educated some Leicester into his horrible Man Utd inbreeding. I remember Sharner's rocket into the top corner and thought that was the match over as said plastic Man Utd fan proceeded to goad and bait. But then came this stunning come back. And then finally Mark De'Vries, with chance after chance, who put as many balls as he could next to the all other ones that couldn't get near to a cow's arse for love nor money suddenly developed the touch of an angel and the steel of an assassin and **** me... 3-2! Thinking about it... I could kill that man.
Manwell Pablo Posted 26 February 2014 Posted 26 February 2014 lol I remember Thracian devising a formation with Hammond and Sappleton up front that was going to "walk the championship" He was absolutely shit, what the hell were we doing back then? Oh mate Thracian was the head of the Hammond fan club. Embarrassing it was
howlinmadmurfdoc Posted 26 February 2014 Posted 26 February 2014 I put 20 quid on him to score first away at derby one season, he had two goals disallowed for being offside that game!!
Chairman of the Bored Posted 26 February 2014 Author Posted 26 February 2014 He came on as a sub last night and missed, oh, at least half a dozen. Eastbourne won 2-1. I have developed a bit of a soft spot for Gosport Borough, and amazingly they have reached the FA Trophy Final vs Cambridge on the 23rd March and I shall be going. Thirty quid a ticket, a good day out.
Stuliasz Posted 26 February 2014 Posted 26 February 2014 Wasn't he arrested and/or charged and/or jailed for money laundering or something similar in the not too distant past or did I dream that up completely?
SystonFox Posted 27 February 2014 Posted 27 February 2014 I thought it was gang related I.e possession of a weapon
Alexikokopops Posted 27 February 2014 Posted 27 February 2014 lol I remember Thracian devising a formation with Hammond and Sappleton up front that was going to "walk the championship" He was absolutely shit, what the hell were we doing back then? I seem to remember we signed him on loan and then made it permanent very shortly afterwards on what seemed like a whim. I'm not sure he's even made an appearance at that point. TBF I think that performance had us all believing we had a half decent side in there somewhere, alas yet another false dawn in that last decade. Thinking about it... I could kill that man. I resolved not to drink because I had an exam the next day. I had my first pint at 2 down and ended up getting hammered. Got 22%. Bingo.
