Dan Posted 5 March 2014 Posted 5 March 2014 I still think a Donny team fighting for its life could well turn us over if we take our eye off the ball, they've already beaten us once this season don't forget. Also Reading, QPR and Bolton, could all come after we seal promotion all of them will be playing for something, whilst we may lose a bit of focus by then. Either way those odds are dire. I still think we'd beat them. They were nothing special at all in October. Without trying to sound as bitter as possible, we completely handed it to them that day and we were shocking.

Where as your concerns regarding other are justified I suggest you do the maths because the 33's is a massive price

There is also the fact you can stop when we secure the title, because we could quite easily lose to Donny if we are already champions and they are fighting for survival as Nige gives some of the fringe a chance to play, or tries out a couple of experimental formations. I don't think so, Pearson will want to put out a strong side for the other sides down there and also finish our season on a high. If we are champions and pressure-free I could see us having a memorable last day to a fantastic season.

Presumably the odds on us not losing would be fairly low for each match, but on an accumulator basis even low odds would mount up.

Wood for sure, but more likely to see Schlupp, Mahrez and King than Hammond or GTF, even Phillips, see how he handles 90 minutes, I think their time here is limited and NP knows what he is getting, whereas he will be wanting to see more of King with DD or James, or even as a 3. I don't know if he would experiment try a 532, or a 4231 favoured by many prem clubs at the moment. Or even if any academy products are ready to step up. But I would be amazed if GTF was still here next season, and whilst Hammond might still be around next season I can't see him getting any game time other than the first rounds of the cup, so I would make sure that those fringe players that will be here next season get game time ahead of them.

I would be very suprised of you could make anything worthwhile and at a guess I would think 10% would be top wack. Has any got the odds for Ipswich ?

Here is why - they will be against some solid teams fighting for something, and Leicester will be needing to take the guesswork out of their summer a little bit. Meaning they will perhaps want to see what they really have in some of the bench sitters like Hammond, Miquel, Mahrez, etc. And everyone will be wanting to finish well to book their place in the PL squad. Is also there is a record in sight like the points record they may want to finish strong. At the end, I'm really not sure this team has it in them to sit back. I think they did this exactly one time this season - they away match at Stoke, when frankly it was in their best interest to go out of the cup. My two cents (two pence?)

It's gambling, so obviously profit is never guaranteed, but a single winning bet would always result in profit, no matter how small. I'm almost certain that if you asked a bookmaker to put a Leicester no lose bet on, they would, however the odds would be very slim. Although making this into an accumulator would increase the winnings.
