MattFox Posted 4 March 2014 Posted 4 March 2014 The top 3 now will mostly likely be the top 3 at the end of the season. Probably in the same order Everyone else is just not good enough or got too much ground to make up
Bert Posted 4 March 2014 Posted 4 March 2014 Yeah I did the maths after I said that. I can't see (on current form) many other places they will drop points. I thought at home to Wigan and away to Watford was being harsh on them too . I can barely see anywhere we will drop points either so maybe I'm just not being realistic. We (and Burnley and to some extent Derby) just look so much better than everyone we play atm. 8 more wins will get us the title I think.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 4 March 2014 Posted 4 March 2014 For a long time I've thought we'll need 92 points. Just been through Burnley and Derby's fixtures again and put them on 95 and 91 respectively. Probably overrating them both but better to be safe than sorry. Still should be a walk in the park from here though. Even five wins, three draws, five defeats puts us on 92. I'd love for us to get 100.
ScouseFox Posted 4 March 2014 Posted 4 March 2014 Yeah although we'll probably go up with 90+ points I'll be very disappointed if we don't dominate the league and go down as comfortably the best team and one of the best teams to ever play at this level, because we deserve that because we are so boss
Number 6 Posted 5 March 2014 Posted 5 March 2014 Don't think we'll win all 4 but even 8 points from them would see us looking pretty secure for promotion with the games left. As other have said though, I want to see us boss it. They deserve to be considered one of the best at this level.
Monk Posted 5 March 2014 Posted 5 March 2014 I'm coming down from Scotland for the Wednesday and Brighton games, would be awesome if we could seal it mathematically at one of those fixtures... we'll see. Should win the next few though if we keep creating chances like we have been.
-blue- Posted 5 March 2014 Posted 5 March 2014 I read the threads and also do various permutations in my mind but then force myself to just think of the next game....like others, I've been disappointed so many times in my life that I intend to savour every single point that will eventually see us crowned champiins. If predicting football results/scores was so simple we'd all be rich......I shall do my bit for the cause and support my team, roll on next Tuesday!
ealingfox Posted 5 March 2014 Posted 5 March 2014 It is easy to see Burnley picking up a lot of points from their run-in, but bear in mind dropping silly points is the reason they're 8 behind us, they'll draw a few more no doubt.

Far Post Gerry Posted 7 March 2014 Posted 7 March 2014 If it does go to the wire (which I don't think it will), Burnley and Derby have got nasty final games.
