fuchsntf Posted 18 March 2014 Author Posted 18 March 2014 My youth flashes before my eyes...thx for finding it. The city fans should sing it in 2 weeks, appreciation to Yeovil. Then whup em 4-0
Fox92 Posted 18 March 2014 Posted 18 March 2014 Didn't expect them to get anything there, especially score three goals. As ever, you never know with football!
Tuna Posted 18 March 2014 Posted 18 March 2014 Ishmael Miller has quality, we'll need to watch him next week.

Alexikokopops Posted 18 March 2014 Posted 18 March 2014 I've finally forgiven Ishmael Miller for scoring the only goal against us in Qpr's 1-0 win in their promotion season. I bumped into my (QPR supporting) boss at that match, I might have to remind him about Miller's scoring exploits tomorrow...
veezeeblue Posted 19 March 2014 Posted 19 March 2014 please sing combine 'arvester at the wurzel game ... gonna be so funny
Guest MattP Posted 19 March 2014 Posted 19 March 2014 We'll pick him up for next season... Why on earth would we do that?
GloverFox Posted 19 March 2014 Posted 19 March 2014 ... whilst Miller has got a phenomenal shot on him he has no pace so just needs closely managing. Yeovil have a youngster from manure on loan, Tom Lawrence who can be a real handful and who has genuine pace. Their 2 centre backs Duffy (Everton) and Webster are both very capable at this level but the left back Mcallister has lost his pace and is a niggling foul of a player. Ayling at right back is an Arsenal trainee who has been at the club for a few seasons now, but he has a tendency to retreat too far back into the back before committing. Stech in goal is a very good shot stopper and brave with it. Edwards who plays through the centre is a talented player, not afraid of taking on players, whilst their new Spanish midfielder is a difficult, all-bloody-knees-and-legs tackler ... On the whole we must not underestimate these guys ... They really do believe they can fight their way off the bottom and going about every game with passion .... and the crafty cockney Johnson has the knowledge of how to get the most out of his team!

I think I will give it a little longer - the memory of that game is still (almost) as raw as Watford last year - so full of hope before the game , Yakubu's efforts on goal , lard arse Paddy Kenny giving it the big ' un at the end

Let's be honest though if they were really any good they wouldn't be where they are in this division.
GloverFox Posted 20 March 2014 Posted 20 March 2014 ... Let's be honest though if they were really any good they wouldn't be where they are in this division. ... Oh don't get me wrong Matt .. I totally agree ... They are where they are because of end results but they can also get the occasional upset if the opposition are complacent and take to the pitch thinking we've already won this one! ... It's also good to know which of the opposition to watch for those glimpses of quality and future potential and Tom Lawrence has a good future if he continues to develop his talent.
