Hirsty The Blue 94 Posted 25 March 2014 Posted 25 March 2014 No doubt Morgan, was a colossus against 2 big strikers and one of few who showed composure on the ball.
Bayfox Posted 25 March 2014 Posted 25 March 2014 Tonight was a night when stephen dawson probably deserved motm to be honest. But as he wasn't playing. Actually I'm not sure I could single out a decent performance tonight. Marcin or jeff? Maybe more down to lack of errors than anything.
Mark_w Posted 25 March 2014 Posted 25 March 2014 Knocky was the best of a bad bunch, but Kasper is an absolute hero for that goal.
langtonfox Posted 25 March 2014 Posted 25 March 2014 Sorry for being so random but what is the point of the ode from MrsG on a football forum?
foxfanazer Posted 26 March 2014 Posted 26 March 2014 Kasper. Despite the obvious he made a couple of vital saves, especially when we were a goal down. What a header!
Father Ted Posted 26 March 2014 Posted 26 March 2014 Morgan, Schlupp and Knockaert all had good games in my opinion. Gone for Knockaert as it was a bit of a one man mission in the second half and he looked like the only player who could create anything and that actually wanted the ball. Can't give it to Kasper despite his last minute heroics, he should have done much better for their goal!
Iwan is a Welshman Posted 26 March 2014 Posted 26 March 2014 If it wasn't for Kasper's heroics at the end then I would have opted for RDL. That's not to say Kasper didn't do anything else though - made a couple of crucial saves. No one else came out of the game with any credit for me. Konch and Lloyd would both be back in the starting line up for Saturday. I'm also a little bit, only a little bit, concerned at Drinky and James from the second half of Blackburn and last night. They've been imperious for sixteen games but they're only young lads. Both were inconsistent last season and they've come on leaps and bounds from that this year. However - you don't become world beaters overnight. I can see Andy King getting his chance again before the end of the year. (or even Deano)
