Mike the Metal Ed Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 Can't please everyone. Absolutely, I'm sure I've been the winner at somebody else's expense before. I'm waiting to see how harsh the increase is before I really get mardy over it.
Wrighty22 Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 Really can't see the issue here. If anyone wants to go to a game they'll try to get their tickets as soon as they are available. If they try to buy on the day at a big game they should expect disappointment. I'm sure this happens at most clubs. Not sure if it's been suggested but maybe the club should implement a similar system as the allocations to away games but for non season ticket holders. If you have been to X amount of games you have a priority above general sale.

I've been suggesting that for ages, but even so last season at Forest, of course will all know this was sold out before it even reached priority three! but somehow some fans got tickets despite not being season ticket holders! As usual there's always a loophole somewhere!

This was without the people having season tickets or any priority status.

Churchill Posted 31 March 2014 Posted 31 March 2014 I agree with most of that, but i still have to pay for a lot of things as a 15 year old, i do have other things to worry and pay for. Sorry mate but at 15 you really don't have concerns over stuff being paid, credit to you for working or how ever you get your money but the stuff you might pay for you could probably go without give or take.
leicesterseddon Posted 3 April 2014 Posted 3 April 2014 I know it's a bit early, but I can't see another thread on it so... IF promotion is achieved (and let's face it, it's just a matter of time now), what are your expectations/hopes in terms of what the owners will do with the price of a season ticket in the Premier League? Obviously we'd all expect the price to go up to some extent - but what sort of increase (in % terms) would you find acceptable? I remember a couple of years ago when QPR hiked up their prices by about 40% when they reached the PL, and thinking 'I hope we don't do the same if we gain promotion', but not being entirely confident that a big hike wouldn't happen. Also remember there are fewer games in a top-flight campaign so the per-game price can be ever higher than you might think at first comparing it to previous Championship seasons.
Raj Posted 3 April 2014 Posted 3 April 2014 Price freeze for existing.(as its less games in Prem) 200% increase for new ones!
Filbert_Ross Posted 3 April 2014 Posted 3 April 2014 Price freeze for existing.(as its less games in Prem) 200% increase for new ones! same as what ive heard.
demon_dog Posted 3 April 2014 Posted 3 April 2014 Bit harsh Raj! I would have said 199% plus 2% bookihg fee.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 4 April 2014 Posted 4 April 2014 Is that the one who said he had his sons year of birth in his username, then in another thread revealed his real age? christ I'd forgot about him

That persons friends were selling the Watford tickets at £50 a pop on their behalf
