martyn Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 This is fair in my mind. Reward those who have been present through the tosh and make your money on the freelancers. Annoyingly, I had a ST for the past 3 seasons but not this one as I knew id be away for at least 40% of our games.. Hopefully there is some concession for those like me, as that was the real tosh!

The Year Of The Fox Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 I'm sure you can still buy a season ticket for this season? Then you would get a price freeze for next season maybe? You can't. Stopped selling not long after Derby at home I think.
LCFC FOX Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 Yes mate unless the club are clamping down! I'm not sure how they would do that
lgfualol Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 Why would they make it a lot more expensive for new season ticket holders? If it is going to be that expensive no-one will get one. "Oh I've been unemployed and struggling for money for the past 2 seasons, but now I have a job and can afford to go" Bam, maybe not. 1 less season ticket holder.
Bert Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 That'll be lovely given the last two seasons have been the first since 2007/08 I haven't had a ST for due to moving away. Can't please everyone.
Leicester1884Filbert Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 Can't please everyone. someone will always be moaning, loyal fans like us deserve to get cheaper tickets, people moan they cannot afford it, nor can i, as i am 15 i only £50 per week and every penny of that goes on home and away games.

Fair point but that's because you are able to prioritise football in your life as a 15 year old. When you have a family and a mortgage they will (should) take priority. Fortunately some of us are in a position to afford all but some cant.

I agree with most of that, but i still have to pay for a lot of things as a 15 year old, i do have other things to worry and pay for.
woddyuk Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 No problemo. Won't be able to see too many home games, anyway. Away games is where it's at. Couple of yet unknown grounds to visit. Emirates away for £ 70 quid each and kids £ 65 cant frigging wait
Leicester1884Filbert Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 Emirates away for £ 70 quid each and kids £ 65 cant frigging wait £65, just for the ticket?
Leicesterpool Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 It would be good to freeze the current season ticket holder prices for next season, it means the loyal fans get sort of a reward. Also I noticed some premier league clubs do Away Season Tickets?
Leicesterpool Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 £65, just for the ticket If that fixture was scheduled just before or just after christmas then many will struggle to go. But to be honest alot of next seasons away days will be expensive! I think you'll find not many premier league clubs will sell away tickets any less than £35!
Leicester1884Filbert Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 If that fixture was scheduled just before or just after christmas then many will struggle to go. i know, i earn £50 per week at the minute, luckily my dad is employing me the whole of the summer holidays so will earn £50 per day with him. I have worked it out around £2,000 for the season.
Soup Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 I'm in SK3 but thinking of moving to SK1 in hope that the singing really kicks off. It would be great if a lot more move over and we can really get it going. The Yeovil game was quite a let down although it was a Tuesday night. The singing will be there, not great against Yeovil but I think that was due to numbers. If you wanna stay in the kop but wanna sing it's a no brainer really. You will enjoy it more over there.Fact.

Been in SK1 for a season now, it was amazing against Watford. Celebrated like at Forest last season when DD scored.

Didn't think you were 15?
Filbert_Ross Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 Nathan is back! Didn't think you were 15? That old excuse.
Wrighty22 Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 Regardless to whether someone is deciding to buy a season ticket now, coincidently that we are on the verge of the prem, no supporters should be punished financially. Surely the club will want to have as many STH as possible and so should make them at a cost reasonable to all.

Wrighty22 Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 Glory hunters are irrelevant. If they want to pay the price and support the club, even if it's just for a season if the worst should happen, then let them. Should they go if things go pear shaped at least the club has made money from them. There's plenty of seats to go around.
Soar Fox Posted 30 March 2014 Posted 30 March 2014 Nathan is back! Didn't think you were 15? Is that the one who said he had his sons year of birth in his username, then in another thread revealed his real age?

I agree with the club that glory hunters should pay more, say you attend 10-15 games a season cannot go because a glory hunter who has never been to a game in his life wants to go and see Suarez and Sturridge ect, how would you feel? Yep Yep it is me, i was very stupid and thought that people would take the piss being a young one, i am 15, not 41 aha
