Fez of Mahrez Posted 30 April 2014 Posted 30 April 2014 Is the answer York? Sorry, the correct answer was "Dead".
_Fatboyslow_ Posted 30 April 2014 Posted 30 April 2014 So we have all these people on here with their sob stories about going to all these games and not been able to get tickets The club put 500 on sale and yet don't sell out Not a sob story just wanted to do what I have done for quite a few years. I for one don't think much to the way the in has handled ticket sales over the last few years and do you really expect folk to be in a position to just drop everything and go to the shop to buy tickets for a bank holiday weekend game three days before the weekend end? Pass. For what it's worth I do think it's been made worse with all the nonsense about a gig after the game, yet no one has come up with any details of permits and the like that would be required, still what do I know, I am off to a classic car show over the week end, eats hope it stays dry.

Firstly I was on about this http://www.foxestalk.co.uk/forums/topic/94302-donny-tickets-wanted/page-5 The club don't need a permit didn't have one for Sam Bailey against man city Enjoy your car show
paulsherwood1 Posted 30 April 2014 Posted 30 April 2014 For me this a really annoying argument. I already posted something similar before, but I make no apologies for doing it again. Who is anyone on here to judge how much a fan someone is? Well done if you have been to every home or away game, lucky you! I have been to 2 games this season, one away, one at home. Due to work and family commitments. I have 3 tickets for Saturday. Me and my two kids. Do I deserve it? Yes I bloody do! I went to every home and away game from the pleat years through to the mon years before work took this away from me. I have watched leicester city at 41 away grounds, ranging from Newcastle to Brighton. I have stood and watched utter dross year after year, I have been to every wembley game, queuing at 1am to get tickets. So to those people moaning about it, tough s**t! Your in no position to judge others just because you have been fortunate to be able to go to every game, your no better fan than me. Stop moaning about your own fans. If you want a guaranteed ticket and you have been to so many games then get a season ticket!
_Fatboyslow_ Posted 30 April 2014 Posted 30 April 2014 Firstly I was on about this http://www.foxestalk.co.uk/forums/topic/94302-donny-tickets-wanted/page-5 The club don't need a permit didn't have one for Sam Bailey against man city Enjoy your car show Fair enough I just thought it was meant for this thread http://www.lcfc.com/news/article/171213-sam-bailey-crowned-queen-of-king-power-stadium-1242242.aspx most of the rubbish is on about post match which is some what differant and even more so if it envoles letting people on the pitch. I hope to but would have been happier if I had brought a nice ex MoD P5 on Tuesday
StanSP Posted 30 April 2014 Posted 30 April 2014 Please don't tell me you went and got one today for the sole purpose of selling it on? No, got a dmu card and my cousin asked me to get him a ticket, but they gave me a pair. Could tell that probably 90%+ of people that got the free tickets were just there to fleece fans out of silly money though, not your typical football fans! What? They just gave you a pair?!? I presume you asked for one. Or did you not think to mention that?
jammie82uk Posted 30 April 2014 Posted 30 April 2014 What? They just gave you a pair?!? I presume you asked for one. Or did you not think to mention that? It stated on the website it was for a pair of tickets per student card
StanSP Posted 30 April 2014 Posted 30 April 2014 It stated on the website it was for a pair of tickets per student card I thought it was max 2 per person (with student card).
jammie82uk Posted 30 April 2014 Posted 30 April 2014 I thought it was max 2 per person (with student card). Just looked again and their wording is "You will be able to claim a pair of tickets for the game on the condition that you have a student identity card with you."
StanSP Posted 1 May 2014 Posted 1 May 2014 More DOncaster tickets on sale! So much for being 'Sold Out'.... http://www.lcfc.com/news/article/010514-doncaster-ticket-update-1522277.aspx THREE games must have been attended this season. Leicester City can confirm that a final allocation of tickets is available for this weekend’s Sky Bet Championship season finale against Doncaster Rovers at King Power Stadium (12.15pm KO). From 9am on Friday 2 May, remaining tickets will be made availableONLYto supporters who have attendedTHREEor more Leicester City league fixtures (home or away) during the 2013/14 season. Tickets will be sold on a strictly one-per-person basis and will be subject to availability. Season Ticket Holders and Foxes Club Members will still NOT be eligible to purchase tickets. Ticket availability remains very limited, meaning only supporters visiting the City Fanstore in person and who call the Sales Centre on (0844 815 5000 option 1) will be able to purchase. Tickets will NOT be available to purchase online. Supporters purchasing tickets are asked to remain patient as queuing times for the phone lines or at the City Fanstore are expected to be longer than usual due to individual booking histories being checked prior to sale. To reduce these queue times and improve the speed by which enquiries can be serviced, the Club requests that customers have their Client Reference Number(s) to hand and, where appropriate, any ticket stubs they wish to have added to their booking history from a previous fixture this season. This will enable our sales representatives to locate accounts and update booking histories. If purchasing on behalf of other supporters, please have to hand the full details of these supporter(s), including Client Reference and Full Name and Address. The Club would like to remind supporters that tickets purchased within two hours of kick-off on previous matchdays are unlikely to have been recorded as part of their booking history. They may present any tickets purchased in such a manner to the City Fanstore as proof of attendance, although such purchases can not be recorded over the phone as the physical ticket stubs will need to be presented to the Club. Photographs/scans will not be accepted. Tickets will ONLY be sold to those supporters who meet the qualifying criteria and no tickets will be sold to supporters who have not attended the required three league fixtures this season.

Nugent Posted 1 May 2014 Posted 1 May 2014 What do people reckon the queues will be like, ridiculous? Looks like an early start.
Babylon Posted 1 May 2014 Posted 1 May 2014 This will be the third day running nowSo basically all the moaners will end up with a ticket if they've actually been to a few games.
jammie82uk Posted 1 May 2014 Posted 1 May 2014 So basically all the moaners will end up with a ticket if they've actually been to a few games. Yeah it's seems that way but you would have thought that based on all the moaning happening on here,Facebook and the mercury it wouldn't have lasted the first day let alone go into a 3rd day
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 1 May 2014 Posted 1 May 2014 Attendance Prediction: 29,873Probably though even allowing for segregation etc we should top 30'000?
ealingfox Posted 1 May 2014 Posted 1 May 2014 Probably though even allowing for segregation etc we should top 30'000? Well they keep saying we've sold out and they're still flogging them. They always do this for away matches to panic you into buying. My most cynical guess is they've sold just over 26k as it stands.

ImBlue Posted 1 May 2014 Posted 1 May 2014 Lessons learnt: - be a ST holder and you get the good times without hassle or disappointment - glory fans who only want to come for the good times struggle. What's bad about this situation? Next I just hope they rip off all new ST holders next year. Perfect.

charliefox Posted 1 May 2014 Posted 1 May 2014 Gutted that I've been to about 10 matches this season but I can't get a ticket because none of them have been bought with my client reference number, all have been bought on my boyfriend's or his friends. Anyone got any ideas for a way around this? The club have to have a system for selling tickets for matches like this one I know, but I still don't understand why STHs need 2 more tickets, since they already have a guaranteed ticket for the match! Absolutely kicking myself for not getting a membership.
ealingfox Posted 1 May 2014 Posted 1 May 2014 what? Why do you hope new STH will be ripped off? Presumably because each and every person that intends to buy a ST for next year but doesn't have one now is an elastic cvnt.
StanSP Posted 1 May 2014 Posted 1 May 2014 Presumably because each and every person that intends to buy a ST for next year but doesn't have one now is an elastic cvnt. Well that's bullshit and a half.
