Mark_w Posted 1 May 2014 Posted 1 May 2014 Gutted that I've been to about 10 matches this season but I can't get a ticket because none of them have been bought with my client reference number, all have been bought on my boyfriend's or his friends. Anyone got any ideas for a way around this? Haven't they just announced that you only need to have been to 3 games? Can't you just get your boyfriend or his friend to get you a ticket?
Eastwellfox Posted 1 May 2014 Posted 1 May 2014 I am in the same boat 14 home and away. To sum this farce up. You have been put behind 32000 other people in value as a supporter and really 10 games should put you much higher up the list and entitle you to a ticket. If you buy a ticket from the club it should be recorded, you are a customer. Sadly the club has let the pair of us down along with a lot of other fans. Anyone got any ideas for a way around this? The club have to have a system for selling tickets for matches like this one I know, but I still don't understand why STHs need 2 more tickets, since they already have a guaranteed ticket for the match! Absolutely kicking myself for not getting a membership.
charliefox Posted 1 May 2014 Posted 1 May 2014 Haven't they just announced that you only need to have been to 3 games? Can't you just get your boyfriend or his friend to get you a ticket? But I thought that you could only buy one per client reference? If that's not the case then fantastic, I'll get one of them to, but from what I've heard it isn't.
Eastwellfox Posted 1 May 2014 Posted 1 May 2014 They should have sold 1 to season ticket holders. 1 to members and then general sale. Would have saved then all this crap, checking up and everything. But no all those commercial to..ers! at the club wouldnt have made 10 million on that over priced ticket line. Has cost me £15 and despite going to 14 home and away i still havent got a ticket.

I have no idea what your on about IF you have been to 14 home and away games this season then why didn't you get a ticket yesterday or today

Southcoastfox08 Posted 1 May 2014 Posted 1 May 2014 I've just checked my lcfcdirect and on the order history its only got 2 games on there, even though i have booked more than this and they have all been on the same bank card. hoping that they will still have a record of the other games as they were booked well in advance of the game.
ImBlue Posted 1 May 2014 Posted 1 May 2014 40,000 want tickets to Doncaster but we can't sell 2500 for Bolton away when we sealed the title? Hardly surprising but amusing all the same. If you wanted to be part of the celebration you would have a ST or you would have got your backside up to greater Manchester last Tuesday night which was in half term I will add. Didn't? Tough. And I'm enjoying laughing at your expense and it's even funnier that it isn't on sky. Enjoy stringer on your radio.
promised land Posted 1 May 2014 Posted 1 May 2014 So basically all the moaners will end up with a ticket if they've actually been to a few games. Or could it be just like the Man Utd fans who use the, 'I can't get tickets', excuse for not going. The moaners aren't that bothered about being there, they just use this as an excuse not to go.

_Fatboyslow_ Posted 1 May 2014 Posted 1 May 2014 So basically all the moaners will end up with a ticket if they've actually been to a few games. Oh no I won't as I have made other plans now and I am greedy. It's three or nothing
ImBlue Posted 1 May 2014 Posted 1 May 2014 Wow are you actually sitting there laughing at other fans who can't get to the game?Yep, it gripes me that we only sell out for party fixtures and Manchester city. I'm thoroughly satisfied that some of those fans will miss out and maybe they can follow the team throughout the season going forward rather than glamour/fans fixtures. As I said, wanted to celebrate? Get up to Huddersfield or Bolton. No, instead just wait for the one on your doorstep. Can't stand fair weather fans. Oh, and before I get all the stories about everyone supporting the club since whatever date and telling me it's about travel and you moved away blah blah blah blah blah. Everyone says it. Boring. You may convince yourself but nobody on here.

Will you be able to enjoy yourself on Saturday surrounded by thousands of people who are only there for the trophy presentation?
ImBlue Posted 1 May 2014 Posted 1 May 2014 Will you be able to enjoy yourself on Saturday surrounded by thousands of people who are only there for the trophy presentation? For sure I will enjoy myself, thank you for asking. I'm surrounded by ST holders to be honest.

Nugent Posted 1 May 2014 Posted 1 May 2014 For sure I will enjoy myself, thank you for asking. I'm surrounded by ST holders to be honest. Get a life you sad fvuk.
Maybes Posted 1 May 2014 Posted 1 May 2014 I find it quite amusing all the people that are flapping over the tickets. If you really want one, you will get one if you try hard enough.
ImBlue Posted 1 May 2014 Posted 1 May 2014 you're so rattled it's quite amusing. For some people, it's just not as easy as 'get yourself up north'. Thought I'd add reasoning. But it doesn't look like I'm rattled, more a few daft posters inbetween you.
StanSP Posted 1 May 2014 Posted 1 May 2014 It does look like you're rattled to be fair. So angry over something you can't control
ImBlue Posted 1 May 2014 Posted 1 May 2014 Get a life you sad fvuk. Take it you haven't got one then? I hope you queue and they're sold out the person before you. How's that for sad?
StanSP Posted 1 May 2014 Posted 1 May 2014 Take it you haven't got one then? I hope you queue and they're sold out the person before you. How's that for sad? Why are you so hateful towards fellow City fans? Closet Forest fan?
Illusion35 Posted 1 May 2014 Posted 1 May 2014 My observations... The Bolton game was not in 'half term'. Or even in the Easter holidays for a lot of people if that is what you meant. But as I'm not a school kid, I was at work. You know, that place where most adults have to go on a weekday. I cannot choose my days off in my job. So I couldn't be in Bolton in time after finishing work however much I wanted to be. I expect this is the case for a lot of people. I'll be there at the Doncaster game though. How terribly annoying for you that people who couldn't make it to Bolton might dare show up to celebrate!
