Went to the Dog & Gun in Keyham on Friday night. Wasn't too bad although the food was luke warm at best when it arrived. Prices were very reasonable. Service was good and the staff very friendly and polite.

The Bradgate in Newtown Linford is good nowadays and they have some decent beers on.

It's been years since I've been in there! Might be popping in on Saturday, so it's good to hear it's decent.

It used to be very poor but it's changed ownership and they have sorted out the decor and got a decent chef in so it's a nice place to go after a walk around Bradgate park.

The Grey Lady kitchen and Deli (literally opposite Bradgate Park) does nice food aswel. Owned by the same people who own The Grey Lady further up the road.

Cheney Arms in Gaddesby. Go on a Wednesday for a pie. It's amazing.

Also Hobby Horse, I was told a group of 10 or so friends went there last week for a meal. 2 ended up in hospital and the rest were ill from a meal there.

That's a shame. Do you know why? Really excellent food! I used to play football for Thurlaston Magpies.

Went bust I believe
