Finnegan Posted 16 May 2014 Posted 16 May 2014 Friend and I looking for a pub / bar that'll deffo be showing the La Liga decider tomorrow? Town centre like, if possible. Everywhere seems to be advertising play offs, cup final, etc. Ideas?
Raj Posted 16 May 2014 Posted 16 May 2014 Finners sorry to rape your thread ..can someone tell me what's the jist with the La liga title decider thing.
Fox in the North Posted 16 May 2014 Posted 16 May 2014 Finners sorry to rape your thread ..can someone tell me what's the jist with the La liga title decider thing. Whoever wins the match between Barc and Atleti wins the title. Though Atleti could also win the title with a draw.
Finnegan Posted 16 May 2014 Author Posted 16 May 2014 It's come down to the last game between Barca and Atletico.

Guest MattP Posted 16 May 2014 Posted 16 May 2014 What a bastard this is, I'm supposed to be at Glenstock between 5-8 and they arrange it for this time. Finners I think you'll struggle with the FA Cup being on at the same time, the only place you'll guarantee to get it on is Walkabout and obviously thats not the most ideal place to watch a game.
StanSP Posted 16 May 2014 Posted 16 May 2014 Providing barca win by by two goals or more aswell. Nope. Goal-difference doesn't matter in La Liga.
Beliall Posted 16 May 2014 Posted 16 May 2014 head to head results would give the title to barca. wish i had a quid on this a few weeks back, they were 100-1. sky is showing the game, first half on ss1 then second on another ss channel i think, chances are any pub with sky will have at least one screen with the game on. especially in a city center, look for spanish footy fans
ealingfox Posted 16 May 2014 Posted 16 May 2014 Barca have got a (much) better goal difference anyway?

Oh FFS the FA Cup kicks off at 5pm? Cvnt the fvck off FA.
Raj Posted 16 May 2014 Posted 16 May 2014 what about real Madrid?.is barca at home??..sorry about this...
Unabomber Posted 16 May 2014 Posted 16 May 2014 wharf about real Madrid?.is barca at home??..sorry about this... Real are out of it, Barca are at home and have allocated Atleti a small amount of away fans, Barca have to win.
Raj Posted 16 May 2014 Posted 16 May 2014 surely we want Athletico to win...sounds like a great story if they win ...about like City!!!!
Unabomber Posted 16 May 2014 Posted 16 May 2014 surely we want Athletico to win...sounds like a great story if they win ...about like City!!!! I do and I think most here do too.
Fox in the North Posted 16 May 2014 Posted 16 May 2014 Barca have got a (much) better goal difference anyway? It's not based on goal difference, head to head takes priority.

Cvnt the fvck off FA. Our plan is to watch the Atleti - Barca game then hot-foot it from the Polar Bear (where we're hoping we can convince them to put the Spanish game on one TV) over to the Soar Point where they've apparently got BT Sports in the hope of repeating the same there with the BVB - Bayern game. Failing that it might have to be back to my digs to try and TV Anywhere the game off my dad's Virgin Media! Do we think Walkabout will definitely have the La Liga match on at least one TV? Seriously, anyone who'd rather watch Arsenal vs Hull than either of those two games is ****ing mad.
Pride_Of_The_Midlands Posted 17 May 2014 Posted 17 May 2014 Seriously, anyone who'd rather watch Arsenal vs Hull than either of those two games is ****ing mad. I want to watch both but the FA Cup Final has to take priority. Why the **** did they put they La Liga decider on at the same time as the FA Cup Final anyway?! They normally kick off games in Spain at like 8pm or 9pm or whatever. That would have been perfect.
Grandad. Posted 17 May 2014 Posted 17 May 2014 Three Crowns in Barrow Finners mate definitely has the game on, three screens tomorrow, 2 with the Cup Final and 1 with the La Liga game.

Or why did the FA have to move the kick off time from it's traditional 3pm time. Know doubt it will be about money and t.v rights, probably to satisfy people in the Middle East or something.
Fox in the North Posted 17 May 2014 Posted 17 May 2014 Unfortunately as I'm in hull definitely going to watch the fa cup final. Either way everyone is going to get absolutely battered! They're just happy to be in the final and Europe, not to mention after last year they're very hopeful of an upset!
lcfc1994 Posted 17 May 2014 Posted 17 May 2014 Nope. Goal-difference doesn't matter in La Liga. Yeah but if barca win, in head to head terms aren't they 1-1? I thought I remember athletico beating barca at the nou camp? Apologise in advance for my lack of knowledge

Guest MattP Posted 17 May 2014 Posted 17 May 2014 FA deserve what they get for pissing around with the kick off times.
