FOXES-BROWNBOY Posted 25 May 2014 Author Posted 25 May 2014 Rumour has it were close to signing Fraizer Campbell, hes got experience in the prem and would only cost 1mil, but he's not going to be a consistent goal scorer
Narborough_fox Posted 25 May 2014 Posted 25 May 2014 He was prolific in Portugal and Holland so its clear hes good enough bust just ****ed up at Norwich He scored 1 goal in 25 Premier League games and stormed out of the last game of the season for not getting picked in the squad. During the 25 games he played in he had 9 shots on target that's almost 1 every 3 games. In the whole season he only had 19 shots and was absolutely lambasted by Norwich fans for not being up for the fight and being too lightweight for the Premier League. Compare that to Gary Hooper who scored 6 goals in 32 games whilst also having 21 shots on target, one every 1 and a half games it shows just how bad van Wolfswinkel has been.

Would you not take a punt on him on loan so even if he is awful, we can just send him back
Vindaloo FOX Posted 25 May 2014 Posted 25 May 2014 'Tricky' Trevor Benjamin i heard he is meant to be the new Emile Heskey .
Narborough_fox Posted 25 May 2014 Posted 25 May 2014 Would you not take a punt on him on loan so even if he is awful, we can just send him back No, because in a 25 man squad you're using one of them on a player who is known for not being up for a relegation fight and you just can't afford that as a new Premier League team. If we were going to sign a Norwich striker it should be Hooper, but I wouldn't even sign him as the fee will be much too large. Bearing in mind, he cost around €12million his wage is going to be much bigger than I'd be willing to pay, even on loan.
the_enlightened_one Posted 25 May 2014 Posted 25 May 2014 Vela? Good joke, like hed come He only plays for Real Sociedad, definitely obtainable in my opinion.
FOXES-BROWNBOY Posted 25 May 2014 Author Posted 25 May 2014 He only plays for Real Sociedad, definitely obtainable in my opinion. They are a top team in Spain and hes been linked with Arsenal so very unlikely

Fair enough, think Hooper will stay at Norwich though, he will thrive in the championship. Gestede or Rhodes?
Narborough_fox Posted 25 May 2014 Posted 25 May 2014 Fair enough, think Hooper will stay at Norwich though, he will thrive in the championship. Gestede or Rhodes? Neither, Rhodes doesn't have a good enough all round game to succeed in the Premier League, there's a reason why he doesn't start for Scotland. Gestede got sold by Cardiff to Blackburn for not being good enough in the Premier League. Just leave it to Nige and Walsh, they'll find someone more than good enough to lead the line.
xHamzah Posted 25 May 2014 Posted 25 May 2014 Danny Welbeck, he's growing frustrated at the lack of opportunities in the central striker role and could possibly leave according to Guardian

Wed have to pay a good sum for him because he's young and English so price tag goes up
kingfox Posted 25 May 2014 Posted 25 May 2014 Alfred Finnbogason, Graziano Pelle, Wissam Ben Yedder or Britt Assombalonga
lc4lcfc Posted 25 May 2014 Posted 25 May 2014 Agbonlahor? All of the visiting teams, for sure. I'd prefer the visiting team left their strikers at home haha
the_enlightened_one Posted 25 May 2014 Posted 25 May 2014 They are a top team in Spain and hes been linked with Arsenal so very unlikely No they're not. He was released by Arsenal so would be daft to go back. We could get this guy, not saying we will go for him, in fact I'm pretty sure we won't but the other two guys I mentioned are awesome as well.
the_enlightened_one Posted 25 May 2014 Posted 25 May 2014 Email Heskey I've just emailed him for you mate Alfred Finnbogason, Graziano Pelle, Wissam Ben Yedder or Britt Assombalonga I like this
