Langston Posted 3 June 2014 Posted 3 June 2014 Don't watch an awful lot of the Bundesliga so I'm not clued up on the chap, but surely he'd have been more than capable of finding another club after his release from Hoffenheim than remain unattached and take this game up, especially with a good few years left in him? Unless he simply fell out of love with football, of course.

Narborough_fox Posted 4 June 2014 Posted 4 June 2014 He's a pretty decent keeper as well, very strange. He got dropped by Hoffenheim in late January 2013 to be replaced by Gomes (of Spurs) before being released in January 2014. He got ejected from a carnival in February 2013 and was fined by the club. Before he was released he only made 10 appearances for Hoffenheim. No idea where it went wrong for him because at Bremen he was a very good keeper but find it unlikely that a club will want him now, especially as he hasn't found a club since his release in January.
