Danizen Posted 25 June 2014 Posted 25 June 2014 http://www.football365.com/england/9360642/Smalling-Wants-To-Cement-Centre-Back-Spot No problem, mate, but if you could let it dry before you play in it next time, that would be great.
Guest MattP Posted 25 June 2014 Posted 25 June 2014 He's actually going to be an England regular for the next ten years isn't he? Fcuk me.
kingfox Posted 25 June 2014 Posted 25 June 2014 I can actually see John Stones developing ahead of him. Cahill will be a regular for years to come, then I can see Jones & Stones emerging together.
Grandad. Posted 25 June 2014 Posted 25 June 2014 I can actually see John Stones developing ahead of him. Cahill will be a regular for years to come, then I can see Jones & Stones emerging together. I agree. Stones is the future, right now anyway.
glenny_fox Posted 25 June 2014 Posted 25 June 2014 Smalling obviously hasn't heard of a guy called Liam Moore that will take that place
Manwell Pablo Posted 25 June 2014 Posted 25 June 2014 I can think of several places I'd like to cement Chris Smalling, unfortunately for him none of them are in Englands back four.
Buzzell Posted 25 June 2014 Posted 25 June 2014 Do I detect a hint of sarcasm? Smalling thinking he will cement his place in the England team: funniest thing I've heard in a while.
LCFC31 Posted 25 June 2014 Posted 25 June 2014 I can actually see John Stones developing ahead of him. Cahill will be a regular for years to come, then I can see Jones & Stones emerging together. Jones and Stones is catchy too.
Danizen Posted 25 June 2014 Author Posted 25 June 2014 Smalling thinking he will cement his place in the England team: funniest thing I've heard in a while. Ah. I thought that was aimed at the weak joke I made.
Buzzell Posted 25 June 2014 Posted 25 June 2014 Ah. I thought that was aimed at the weak joke I made.No but now thinking of it..........
Danno Posted 25 June 2014 Posted 25 June 2014 He wants to play for england oh nooo ! ! ! What a disgrace ! ! ! !
MPH Posted 25 June 2014 Posted 25 June 2014 He isn't as bad as some are making out, yet at the same time the depth of talent in our defensive options is a little limited. Be nice to see how he develops when he gets a full season under his belt...
Guest Col city fan Posted 25 June 2014 Posted 25 June 2014 Why does this thread even exist? Making a scapegoat out of Chris bloody Smalling. Why him? They were all awful, generally poor. If you want to target anyone, look at Steeeeeeeevie Gerard. Our Captain, IMO, was dreadful. However, he always seems almost above criticism.
