Thracian Posted 9 July 2014 Posted 9 July 2014 Not at all sure how we'll get a marquee signing with a "strict wage ceiling" but if Pearson's content to bide his time that's probably more reassuring than the Sven Ericsson types who just spend, spend, spend like blind men who've just won the lottery. Once again Pearson might have to readjust his thinking in relation to the Premiership because, otherwise, it'll break his heart watching other people sign all the players who could make a difference. For all that i do have faith in the guy and his ability to judge a decent player at whatever price. His problem might be to find outstanding players with the right attitude, no ego and a selfless disposition.
Ric Flair Posted 9 July 2014 Posted 9 July 2014 Holtby from Spurs would be beautiful as well. We need a Salmon.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 9 July 2014 Posted 9 July 2014 Pearson, and big money, don't mix. A bit like nitro glycerine.
sphericalfox Posted 9 July 2014 Posted 9 July 2014 Holtby from Spurs would be beautiful as well. We need a Salmon. Connor?
ROB-THE-BLUE Posted 9 July 2014 Posted 9 July 2014 Pearson, and big money, don't mix. A bit like nitro glycerine. He's never spent big money??
bluebeau Posted 9 July 2014 Posted 9 July 2014 W T F do we want to buy a marquee for, are the football club thinking of doing wedding receptions on the pitch & under canvas?
Soar Fox Posted 9 July 2014 Posted 9 July 2014 Holtby from Spurs would be beautiful as well. We need a Salmon. Mentioned Holtby before, would absolutely love him here.
1972 Fox Posted 9 July 2014 Posted 9 July 2014 Holtby from Spurs would be beautiful as well. We need a Salmon. Geoff Salmons? Our joint top scorer with 4 league goals in the McKlintock relegation season in 1977/78. God that season was dire. Made even more unbearable by Forest winning the league.
Fatty Arbuckle Posted 10 July 2014 Posted 10 July 2014 Now that Swansea are interested in Gylfi Sigurdsson, and the spurs havent said no yet, I would love him at our club. He has experience, and a wonder shot. The only reason he wasnt consistent last year was due to sherwood benching him too much. I cant imagine him costing more than £6.5-7mil Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk Would cause Kevin Phillips too many problems though!
MozeyCo Posted 10 July 2014 Posted 10 July 2014 Would cause Kevin Phillips too many problems though! Shylif Gylfurson is great as well!
