filbertfoxy00 Posted 25 July 2014 Posted 25 July 2014 Why have they resurrected this rag...it was a jinx. We only won in it once (2-0 at Chelsea in a league cup tie 2nd leg) and even lost that on penalties. That rag brings back all sorts of horrible memories.

Didnt realise they were so popular, in the 12/13 season when we drew with Barnsley some guy behind me had a moan at me during half time cause of the poor track record the shirt produced in the 80s haha, still once of the nicest shirts the club do in the retro section and its always nice to see it back on the shelves. We're surely only a few club kit design meetings from getting a reboot of this? Probably the same bloke that said it to me at Palace
Jace Posted 25 July 2014 Posted 25 July 2014 Have they changed the design then? The green 1 in that picture looks far more like the original from what I remember than the previous replicas is it because the lines are blocked off for the sponsor like Petchy has pointed out?

I've always liked both the blue and green Ind Coop, but I can well remember the outcry from fans hating the green when the mercury first released the pictures all those years back.

Saxondale Posted 1 August 2014 Posted 1 August 2014 Got me new un for me birthday. It's a medium and it's quite generously sized. Which I'm most grateful for considering my recent Rik Waller tendencies. This version seems a bit more premium than the last issue.
