Jace Posted 27 August 2014 Posted 27 August 2014 Anyone know how I can contact them as I have a problem with something I've ordered, I've called the number on the website and it says they are no longer using that number and to refer to the number on the website which is the number I called and there is no email either?
HEGGSY Posted 27 August 2014 Posted 27 August 2014 I'm still waiting for an email back about them sending me the wrong bloody red shirt. You don't get any of this on Heggsy's dodgy Chinese site lol !
lcfc278 Posted 27 August 2014 Posted 27 August 2014 Observations from across the pond: Spot on about the lack of retail acumen. One of the bigger issues: the web sites (the team and store) are both train wrecks. Shockingly so. And the shit of it is, it's not that difficult to make an attractive and easy to use web site. Our local MLS side (Philadelphia Union) use a team of interns (IT students from university) with a full time supervisor to run the IT department. They do a bang up job on the cheap. As for inventory control, in the Union team store EVERY ITEM is bar coded and kept in a database, so that when it's sold (either online or in person at the store) it gets pulled from the inventory database. This eliminates duplicate sale of the same item and also allows tracking of when sales are frequent or not, as well as to set low inventory alarms. It would be worth it for LCFC to keep a little extra inventory even if it means selling it at year-end sales at or just above cost. But at least keep a digital inventory so you can track it. And finally, the team store should be seen and treated as a very important revenue stream. It is apparent they are losing lots of money through inefficiency, money that could be well spent on the squad. FWIW, the majority of Beckham's 60-month testimonial tour over here was funded in large part by replica kit sale (Buy Herbalife and piss orange..) In short, they could do with a thorough audit by IT efficiency consultants.... Spot on! How it should be done at the very least. My nan's corner shop has a similar inventory system and works to a 'T'. its astounding how our club shop / ticket system could be so flawed!
FoxInTheBirstallBox Posted 27 August 2014 Posted 27 August 2014 I understand that they wanted to do a limited edition to get people excited over a controversial colour shirt, but why limit it to 1000 is beyond me, the only people who will benefit will be the sad twits like myself who have brought 3 shirts and put them away for 20 years or so and will sell them later on, although i will be keeping one for myself, because i really like it
foxfanazer Posted 27 August 2014 Posted 27 August 2014 I've still not received my season ticket It came with the wrong details so I sent it back 2 weeks before the Everton game and still nothing. Joke of a ticket office
Jace Posted 27 August 2014 Posted 27 August 2014 I've still not received my season ticket It came with the wrong details so I sent it back 2 weeks before the Everton game and still nothing. Joke of a ticket office How do you go to matches without it!?

Why would you be so selfish and let other LCFC fans go without due to your greed...horrible
jammie82uk Posted 27 August 2014 Posted 27 August 2014 I've still not received my season ticket It came with the wrong details so I sent it back 2 weeks before the Everton game and still nothing. Joke of a ticket office So you did receive your season ticket then As long as your seat is secure does it really matter what it says on the card

jammie82uk Posted 27 August 2014 Posted 27 August 2014 Gave me a match ticket for Everton gameCame as an under 22 so didn't want to risk it Fair enough then I assume you don't have the good fortune of looking under 22 then
foxfanazer Posted 27 August 2014 Posted 27 August 2014 Fair enough then I assume you don't have the good fortune of looking under 22 then I'm only 25 and would easily pass for under 22 but I'm paying for an adults ticker so that's what I want
FoxInTheBirstallBox Posted 28 August 2014 Posted 28 August 2014 It's bought. Why would you be so selfish and let other LCFC fans go without due to your greed...horrible Would you like to buy one then?…..
thybluefox Posted 28 August 2014 Posted 28 August 2014 I build online stores for a living and it's really not that hard to get it right, especially for a business of this size. I'd love to be given the chance to redo it all - especially after getting to see just exactly what Liverpool have done with their new site this year.
Samilktray Posted 29 August 2014 Posted 29 August 2014 7 days on and I'm still awaiting a reply to my email about them sending the wrong shirt. Is there a number for the club store? The only number they provide seems to be the ticket office.
StanSP Posted 29 August 2014 Author Posted 29 August 2014 7 days on and I'm still awaiting a reply to my email about them sending the wrong shirt. Is there a number for the club store? The only number they provide seems to be the ticket office. I went through reception on the options when calling up the other day. Got through to Jim (Fanzone guy). Sent him an e-mail and he said he'll forward it to Head of Retail. Still yet to get a reply from them though.
StanSP Posted 2 September 2014 Author Posted 2 September 2014 Heard nothing from Head of Retail regarding this so e-mailed Jim today again saying so. Few hours later I get a response from a CS advisor saying I'll be getting my money back. Would rather have the red shirt given that I was ready to own one but I guess I'll wait til next time (whenever that may be!)
Jace Posted 3 September 2014 Posted 3 September 2014 I sent off a shirt for replacement a week ago cos the printing on the front had peeled a bit not heard back from them which I would have thought with them being out of stock, might leave it another week and if don't hear anything contact them
