No, this one was a dive, no doubt about it whatsoever. Let's not kid ourselves here. You can see Vardy positioning himself to get contact with Rafael. http://gfycat.com/WhimsicalCoarseCattle

I've said before, I don't care though, I still love the guy.

Rafael's pushed him. Not much but he has a bit. It was clearer from the kop which was where I was sat. Moving your body into a certain position isn't diving.

Don't reckon it was a dive but he definitely was waiting for any contact to go down. It's the modern game though, he got goalside and soft as it is those will be given plenty of times this season in the prem. The push before it was more of a foul and I think that is the main thing that has sparked the outrage.

Challenges can look quite different from different angles.

I was in the Kop yesterday and would like to think that I view challenges in an unbiased way.

At the time, my reaction to the initial challenge was that it was shoulder to shoulder, although I was surprised that it was allowed purely because refs usually blow for a strong shoulder-to-shoulder, even if they shouldn't.

When I saw the TV footage on MoD, that same challenge looked like a clear foul...

Presumably the ref had the same initial impression as I did...

I don't think either of them are fouls. Vardy wins a shoulder to shoulder, rafael shouldn't be such a pussy. And as soon as he's hit the deck you can tell he's gonna get back up and charge into Vardy, Jamie puts himself between man and ball, gets knocked. A harsh penalty but Vardy's clever play and positioning make it look a lot like it could be a penalty.

Basically rafael shouldn't have been such an idiot. Gave him a right good chance to make something from a nudge in the back, Vardy hit the deck, refs got a decision to make.

Don't know about you guys but the minute the decision for the "foul" on Rafael was not given, it was painfully obvious he was going to go and give a penalty away
