FoxInTheBirstallBox Posted 22 September 2014 Posted 22 September 2014 I still get over the fact that every photo of him i see, it looks like someone has badly photoshopped someones face not that body…. ITS NOT RIGHT Oh, and you lost, deal with it
Rincewind Posted 22 September 2014 Posted 22 September 2014 I said last night when some were talking about Manu fans saying City were lucky ref on their side etc that they should learn a lesson from their manager. He was having a go at HIS team not CITY. A team full of high valued players should have been professional enough to retain a two goal lead but they were sloppy and allowed City to play to their expected standard. The manager was also at fault for not knowing enough about the opposition or maybe his backroom staff were wrong. I wonder how many managers operate like Pearson involving players so they know the finest details about who they are playing. Even Vardy was talking about Manu's weak side. No doubt other managers will now be studying City to find their weak spots and Man Utd could be in for a couple of tough weeks. City will not be taken lightly now. Had to laugh at the video someone posted view of the game from a Man Utd fan. He was saying 'Its only Leicester' Well we have shown other teams in the Championship the way to compete in this division. I think we will finish at least halfway. Maybe not top six but will be prepared for better times in a few years. They now have the backing. The only danger is losing Peason to a bigger name club or England. They have financial backing and youth programme to do better than pundits expect.

I have no problem with being considered underdogs and not worthy of respect, time and effort. I think you're quite right though. We will now be seen as a force. Managers across the Prem will be analysing us more, taking us more seriously and spending more time on their game plans. I suspect.
LanguedocFox Posted 22 September 2014 Posted 22 September 2014 I wonder if LvG has seen this, from the Indy: made me laugh, especially the bit about "the terrorising Jamie Vardy": http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/five-reason-why-louis-van-gaal-is-a-worse-manchester-united-manager-than-david-moyes-9748570.html
Lionheart Posted 22 September 2014 Posted 22 September 2014 LVG has obviously won titles etc in other leagues but I think he has thoroughly underestimated the Premership and is at present proving himself tactically inept,he needs to learn a bit about our game and quickly but I think he is probably too arrogant to admit that.
adam1 Posted 22 September 2014 Posted 22 September 2014 I was surprised that after the first half he didn't appear to change things around. Yes they were 1-2 up, but the back 4 and the diamond midfield is not tactically a good move against our 4-3-3 with the pace on the flanks.
roger the dodger Posted 22 September 2014 Posted 22 September 2014 to quote a Norway Commentater. Ryan Giggs. George best. bobby Charlton. Denis law. Eric Cantona. Christiano Ronaldo. Bryan robson and other ex man Utd players you took a hell of a beating
Stadt Posted 22 September 2014 Posted 22 September 2014 He was right, they shouldn't have given us the opportunity to win the game, they threw it away.
fazzyfox Posted 22 September 2014 Posted 22 September 2014 What a knob. Looks like something off of Star Wars. This one perhaps, called Nien Nunb apparantly (as opposed to effin numb like he was left yesterday)
dmayne7 Posted 22 September 2014 Posted 22 September 2014 Agree, before the game he called us a long ball team- obviously not watched our counter attacking style before. Another over rated manager in my opinion- can't stand him Yeah, that really wound me up. We're direct at worst. Personally think the the way we approach football when we're on it is better than a Barcelona style. Granted its not quite as flashy but its high tempo football where you're always trying to make something happen. I really went off Moyes but the way he got treated compared to Van Gaal is disgusting really. Van Gaal has had it so much easier in terms of the CEO being established and a commitment to spending money, yet he didn't sign a centre-half. Bizzare.
