ozleicester Posted 22 September 2014 Posted 22 September 2014 I wake up this morning to hear this quote on the radio... Van Gaal said: "It is not good because we had the game in our pocket and gave it away. Not because of Leicester; we gave it away and I don't like that." http://www.101greatgoals.com/blog/man-united-boss-louis-van-gaal-honest-post-match-interview-after-5-3-leicester-loss-video/ You fvcking whiny little bitch, you were beaten by a better TEAM......... we took your poxy billion pound group of players apart. Manu didnt lose.. they were BEATEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ozleicester Posted 22 September 2014 Author Posted 22 September 2014 Make yourself comfortable in there Louis!
Biggus Posted 22 September 2014 Posted 22 September 2014 LVG - arrogant when he arrived, arrogant when he left. He hadn't done his homework particularly on Vardy.
EGBFitness Posted 22 September 2014 Posted 22 September 2014 LVG - arrogant when he arrived, arrogant when he left. He hadn't done his homework particularly on Vardy. Agree, before the game he called us a long ball team- obviously not watched our counter attacking style before. Another over rated manager in my opinion- can't stand him
KFS Posted 22 September 2014 Posted 22 September 2014 What a knob. Looks like something off of Star Wars.
ithuriel Posted 22 September 2014 Posted 22 September 2014 Who cares what excuses he comes out with, the games done and they cant do anything about the humiliation now.
Guest Posted 22 September 2014 Posted 22 September 2014 Who cares what excuses he comes out with, the games done and they cant do anything about the humiliation now. And it's being relayed around the world on every sports programme.
Number 6 Posted 22 September 2014 Posted 22 September 2014 And it's being relayed around the world on every sports programme. That's the good thing about the Di Maria goal being so good...that'll be replayed loads this year, every time being a joyous reminder of this game.
weller54 Posted 22 September 2014 Posted 22 September 2014 Some homework he did on us!!.. He even said... ' Leicester came back against Everton and Stoke!!! '.....flat faced twat... We were never behind against Stoke!... He didn't even know the basics of our previous result in our last outing!...
Webbo Posted 22 September 2014 Posted 22 September 2014 Tbf if we had a 2 goal lead with half hour to go and lost we'd say we'd thrown it away. What he said wasn't unreasonable.
Vlad the Fox Posted 22 September 2014 Posted 22 September 2014 And it's being relayed around the world on every sports programme. And all those plastic man u fans around the world being laughed at.
kingcarr21 Posted 22 September 2014 Posted 22 September 2014 Tbf if we had a 2 goal lead with half hour to go and lost we'd say we'd thrown it away. What he said wasn't unreasonable. Him saying they threw it away suggests only that Man U were poor and not that Leicester were brilliant to exploit the fact that they were poor. He certainly could of been gracious in defeat but hes an arrogant tosser who looks like his face has just been dragged across hot coals.
lgfualol Posted 22 September 2014 Posted 22 September 2014 I bet he really regrets telling every one he had 4 books about us.
FoxesAreBlue Posted 22 September 2014 Posted 22 September 2014 I bet he really regrets telling every one he had 4 books about us. Of Fossils and Foxes How the League was Won were probably two of them.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 22 September 2014 Posted 22 September 2014 Let him be like that, his team will not improve if he doesn't understand when his side is getting outplayed
Oxfordfox83 Posted 22 September 2014 Posted 22 September 2014 I thought he was pretty gracious. If you watch the whole 5 minutes he refuses to blame the ref, he says we've shown our strength and quality, and said that sometimes you just get beaten in football. His criticism of his players (the 'not Leicester City' bit) was more "if you're 3-1 up you should respect your opponents and see the game out, but [manU] pushed and let Leicester back in." It was having a go at his players for not closing ranks, which is fair-it would have been very different against a Chelsea parked bus...
sylofox Posted 22 September 2014 Posted 22 September 2014 He will regret saying that when his players turn on him this week. His days are numbered after this battering. And as for the fans it proves an old saying "Careful what you wish for" I bet I can think of someone sat watching it pissing himself lol

In my opinion, he should be on his feet, and telling the team to close ranks. He seemed to just be sitting back in his chair. I can't stand these, "too cool, to care", managers. Him, or his team, should have been shouting instructions to the players, but instead him and Giggs are sitting back. I love it that Nige sits up in the stands, sees what is going on and directs his team. He is constantly on his walkie-talkie talking to the coaches and directing the team.
FoxLAD Posted 22 September 2014 Posted 22 September 2014 I think Man U will gradually do a arsenal and go so many years with a trophy. I hope.
Corky Posted 22 September 2014 Posted 22 September 2014 No problem with his interviews, quite impressed about his honesty about his own team. He also acknowledged our start to the season. Look, he's 3-1 up and cruising, then 20 minutes later it had turned around massively. He was no doubt pissed off with his side but was quite controlled in the media.
Manwell Pablo Posted 22 September 2014 Posted 22 September 2014 I was a bit unimpressed with that particular quote, they capitulated granted but there are very few teams who would of taken advantage of it in the style that we did, but he was fine on the whole. I think we're getting a bit petty with opposing managers tbh they've pretty much all been very gracious post game win lose or draw, and given we're talking about the likes of Wenger Mourino and Van Gaal here that's extremely surprising. Seems like anyone who doesn't brand us the new Barcelona post match is immediately berated for giving the mighty Leicester City the credit they deserve.

I think we need to stop over-reacting, especially to comments by Man U fans: if we don't, we're in danger of sounding like them.
Guest Posted 22 September 2014 Posted 22 September 2014 I'm not fussed if he keeps perpetuating the myth that we're not that good. Keep us under the radar (although I think yesterday well and truly blew that one of out the water!)
