Fox42 Posted 4 October 2014 Posted 4 October 2014 @OfficialFOXES: #lcfc Starting XI: Schmeichel, De Laet, Konchesky, Drinkwater, Morgan, Hammond, Vardy, Schlupp, Moore, Ulloa, Mahrez. #LeiBur
Guest kristianity77 Posted 4 October 2014 Posted 4 October 2014 Esteban not even on the bench, is he injured?
lgfualol Posted 4 October 2014 Posted 4 October 2014 Nugent dropped, but Hammond still in the team? I would rather James or King start. Hammond is so slow. Apart from that, good team.
Thracian Posted 4 October 2014 Posted 4 October 2014 No Kingy again. What the hell did he ever do wrong? It won't help our defending or set pieces or our goalscoring potential.

1993fox Posted 4 October 2014 Posted 4 October 2014 Never understood the hype for Hammond but hope he puts in a good shift today. Same for De Laet. I bet Mahrez will be raring to go for this one.
MooseBreath Posted 4 October 2014 Posted 4 October 2014 Keeping Hammond in there to break up Burnley's lethal attacking threat maybe. Strange choice for a game where we should be looking to dictate the game, but I'm glad we've gone back to 442.
Charl91 Posted 4 October 2014 Posted 4 October 2014 I did think Nugent needed to have a game or two out, to show he's not undroppable, so I can understand that. However, I'm slightly confused by the choice of both Schlupp and Hammond. Seems far to defensive minded for me, in a game where we should be controlling most of the play and trying to break them down. Schlupp isn't exactly known for his intricate and cutting passing around the box. That said, I'm glad Mahrez is back in, I think this is the kind of game where we need him. Dare I say, we could possibly use Knockaert at some point in this game too.

Burnley have no players, which is essentially carte blanche to chuck caution to the wind. I think they'll come out of the blocks at us because they have been criticised for being defensive and have nothing to lose. Also, Hammond's passing has been excellent, a sight better than DD's was at Palace. Still think James will come on 2nd half, but hopefully we'll have the game won by then...
Manwell Pablo Posted 4 October 2014 Posted 4 October 2014 As I suspected looks like there here to try and nick something.
