In the main it was good times, people remember that, the hundreds of thousands of people he killed would soon be forgotton if people had a few quid in the pocket again.

He presided over two disastrous wars and mass immigration and won 3 elections. Brown was in charge during an economic downturn that wasn't even his fault and loses. It's the economy, stupid.
