After a shocking first 20-30, the final hour was probably our best form since Man Utd. There's not much wrong with the play going forward but there's just not enough threat to fibnish it off.

Hamer - 5 - kicking was shocking and probably should have stopped the free kick.

Simpson - 5 - didn't get forward enough and was nowhere near close enough to Chadli for the goal

Konchesky - 6 - composed and covered the CBs very well on one counter attack

Was - 6 - Solid as ever, won most challenges

Wes - 6 - Got in 2 vital blocks and should have scored

DD - 6 - He just doesn't have enough quality going forward at this level

King - 5 - He just doesn't have enough quality going forward at this level

Mahrez - 8 - Set up the equalizer and was a constant threat. Had a good chance late on.

Jeff - 8 - Probably his best game this season, Spurs couldn't get near him and Lloris did well to save one shot.

Ulloa - 7 - Got one and should have scored in the first half when he hit the post

Nugent - 6 - He just doesn't have enough quality going forward at this level

SUBS

Vardy - 6 - yes he has pace but doesn't get into scoring situations enough and his first touch is terrible at this level

James - 5 - He just doesn't have enough quality going forward at this level

Knockaert - 5 - IF he gets the chance to start when Mahrez is away, he'll do better, 20 minutes here and there isn't helping him

Here goes...

Hamer 5 - disappointed the free kick went in and some dodgy kicking

Simpson 7 - I feel a lot safer defensively with him instead of De Laet. Thought that he defended well, although beaten a couple of times, and that he got forward and supported at the right times.

Morgan 6 - mixed bag today and could have done a lot better for their 1st

Wasilewski 7 - I think he's growing into the Premier League and has been a pretty consistently good performer throughout our bad run. Solid again today

Konchesky 6 - a vast improvement from West Ham but I still think he needs replacing. Made a great covering tackle and got forward quite well.

Mahrez 8 - Brilliant today, absolutely brilliant. Shame the odd shot or cross was poor but was a thorn in Spurs' side and I was in awe of his control towards the end from a high ball while running into the box

Drinkwater 9 - Joint MOTM with Schlupp for me. Apart from his dreadful effort in the first half and the first period when we were poor he was absolutely everywhere and was the heartbeat of our team. Wonderful.

King 7 - simply because he only had half a game he gets a 7 but he offered a lot to the team today and thought he assisted Drinky v well.

Schlupp 9 - His best performance in a Leicester shirt. Direct, pacey, skilful and a massive threat down the left hand side. More of that please Jeffrey

Nugent 6 - useful but lacked fitness and was knackered around the 60 mins mark. He did link us well though and I think he added a lot to our performance.

Ulloa 7 - terrible miss in first half but took the goal well and generally cause a lot of problems for the Spurs back 4

Have you got a video of it?

Maybe I'm remembering it wrong but I thought he took the ball and brought Vardy down with him. Looked dramatatic but no pen, as I recall.

No sorry, mate played it to me over Skype - he lives in America and gets all the 3pms to watch. Definitely a pen

Hamer 5 - Not impressed at all. Not bothered if the wall parted. From his starting position, he shouldnt be beaten from there.

Simpson 7 - Improvement on RDL. Gets forward but not to the extent to comprimise his defending. Feel very sorry for whoever is at right back though as they get no cover from Mahrez whatsoever.

Was 7 - Very solid. Is our best defender at the moment.

Wes 4 - Seems every game he does something that fans need to find excuses for. No idea why he went to ground for the first. He should make way for Upson when he's fit.

Konch 6 - Solid enough.

Mahrez 7 - Some lovely play often ruined by bad decisions or just sheer lack of quality. Did very well for the goal though and so unlucky with the free kick.

King 7 - Worked very hard and decent in possession.

Drinky 8 - More like last season. His confidence seems to be returning so hopefully by the next game, he'll make the right choice to play someone in and not shoot or vice verca.

Schluppenator 9 - If he did that consistantly he would be unplayable. Pace, power and good end product. Drew a first class save from Lloris.

Nugent 7 - Linked play very well and looks determined to do well. He isnt a long term solution but until we get someone else, he's a good option to have.

Ulloa 8 - Really good game. Ran his socks off, great goal and should have scored the header. Held it up really well and gave the midfield the chance to get up with attack.

Subs:-

Vardy 7 - He's better as an impact sub. Definitely a pen.

James 7 - His partnership with Drinkwater needs re-establishing and pursuing with. Their energy is much more useful than the odd eye catching pass from Cambiasso.

Knocky 4 - There wont be a riot if he goes in January.

NP 8 - Cant knock him today.

Ref 7 - Thought he did well overall but deffo a pen on Vardy missed.

Spurs 7 - Above average Prem team. They had a little bit more quality and that really is the difference.

Gave everyone 5's and 6's... Is it just me but I thought nuge played really well today... Usually I'm not convinced by him but today thought he linked up play several times and is more suited up front rather than vardy has been this season... Was really encouraged by his display today

Off the scale banter Col, too good, can't handle it.

You had someone make a Twitter page of you, you get mentioned on the Spurs forum, wouldn't be surprised if Lee Cattermole mentions you in his next interview.

Can't think straight for ratings I'll post tomorrow after watching some highlights but my gut reactions for the game were:

First goal, I've seen people blaming Simpson, not his fault Wes and Was switched off left Kane in acres of space Simpson came over to cover Kane and left a massive hole for whichever multimillion pound superstar it was on the right, then he had to try and get back into position in all this time Wes and Was still failed to pick up Kane. Awful at the back but not Simpson's fault.

Second goal the wall just got so preoccupied over the spare man they just made it so obvious they were going to split, clever from the Spurs man but do easily preventable not sure if Hamer could have done better but if he lines up a wall and they don't do their job first blame is on them. Basic football do your job first, if he does pass it to the spare man then go and cover him don't second guess the free kick taker and give him a clear shot on goal. League 1 defending at best.

So frustrating that 2 pieces of stupidity cost us again in what was an otherwise excellent performance.

Personal highlight of the match was Was sitting on Lloris to stop him getting the ball away and giving Hamer time to get back.

He touched the ball but he also hacked Vardy down at the same time. Regardless of whether or not the ball was cleared I think that's a foul. Like you can't win the ball and then punch a player in the face and get away with it because you won the ball. In this case the defenders touch wasn't enough to take it away from Vardy had he not been swathed down anyway, so it was stonewall.

Surprised that some people have rated simpson higher than konchesky. Defensively, konch did barely anything wrong. Plus don't quite get some of the low ratings for king, granted he only played 45 mins but he was everywhere. Schlupp and mahrez were probably our best 2 players today although drinky probably had his best game

Depressing stuff to lose playing so well.

Mahrez Drinks brilliant, Schulpps best game for us i think.

Morgan looking out his depth and I'd bring back Rdl.
