fleckneymike Posted 27 December 2014 Posted 27 December 2014 But those that say "Pearson Out" don't debate. People who support Pearson are saying why. Those that want him out are narrow minded and just say "we not winning. we must change manager. K?!" without actually having a debate In defence of those who want him sacked that is the only point of debate. 12 games: 2 points is horrific form, wanting a manager sacked on the back of that is not unreasoanble. Those who advocate 'sticking with him' or 'giving him more time' are basing their view on hope as we've been here before with losing runs/dramatic loss of form. We went from Feb 9th 2013 to May 12th 2013 playing 20 games, losing 10, drawing 6 and winning 4. We didn't turn that form around, we couldn't turn that form around, we needed an entire summer of planning to fix it (and fix it spectacularly). This season again has show that we struggle to stop poor form.
Leicesterpool Posted 27 December 2014 Posted 27 December 2014 Won't be surprised if Pulis returns there. Warnock was always a mistake appointment for them, considering his premier league record.
Dan Posted 27 December 2014 Posted 27 December 2014 I do feel sorry for Pearson as he does keep being let down by individual errors from his players but ultimately if you're going to use inidividual moments of brilliance from his players in his favour then the same has to be done the other way, and they are his players. I don't even know what I want from us anymore. It's a lose/lose. I don't want him gone but I'm struggling to back this. Literally cannot explain what I think we should do. January should paint a clearer picture of where we're really heading in the longer term.
bovril Posted 27 December 2014 Posted 27 December 2014 "His form of one win in 12 just wasn't good enough" BBC just now. That's the kind of form we'd kill for!!! The stuff dreams are made of....
richardsfoxes Posted 29 December 2014 Posted 29 December 2014 Good move for padrew, he knew his time was up at newcastle.
