Best football in a City game this season

This really says it all about this season. I was really trying to think of a team who played well against us ( I missed the Swansea game) Hull and Stoke at their places weren't bad tbf when we actually luckboxed a win ironically!

What?!?!?!?! Hull were ****ing dire lol

Id say our best SPELL in a game was at home v Arsenal in the 2nd half. No refereeing decisions to help us, no opponent collapse, just good quality football and we were highly unlucky to win that day.

Our best complete performance in a game, i would go for Spurs at home. Only thing that was missing that day was genuinely a bit of luck, we played well and worthy of a win.

For our opponents, Swansea destroyed us.

Individual performanes from away teams? Id go with Yannick Bolasie away to Palace, Stewart Downing away to West Ham, Bojan in the Stoke home game, and the way Bony, Sigurdsson and Montero made us look terrible at the Liberty.

Arsenal at the Emirates were good in the first half, Ozil especially.

Man United were good in both first halves, as has been said elsewhere.

Everton also good in the first half on the opening day.

Best 90 minute performance I've seen was probably us at Anfield or at home to Spurs and we got 1 point out of those games.

Good call on Bolasie at Selhurst. I'm not sure of his record for creating chances and getting goals and assists but just to have a player like that who has his opponent on toast (he had De Laet and then when Simpson came on he did the same to him too), it puts you on the front foot and makes the opposition stray from their natural game a bit. Riyad does it sometimes for us I suppose.

not really a performance but just a moment, yaya toure in the home game at our place, second half he got the ball and i'm still completely clueless as to how he got past about 5 of our defenders with one stride but he did. it was amazing. he took a stride that i'm 90% sure went over konchesky's head like a giant stepping over an ant.

Very little to be positive about this season, but the Man U game for me was the best game.

Everything that we have not seen since, being beaten comfortable, and to show the grit and determination to take the game to United.

As much as that was a great game to be at, just wish we had more games, played with that amount of quality, and determination, just seems a distant memory now.

Bojan gave one of the best individual performances I've seen at our stadium and was ultimately the difference.

Eriksen showed a moment of class to top an accomplished performance.

The reality is that at this level it's about players who can have 'moments'. You can fill your team with Jon Walters, Gareth McAuley and Alex Bruce but as long as you have one or two that at any given moment can produce something extraordinary then you'll beat a hard-working/organised team like us.

Who do we have that can produce a 'moment'?

Mahrez and that's pretty much it which is where our problem lies. After him there isn't anyone vaguely near being as creative as he is. If you watch us recently, anything positive we do involves him somewhere along the way. If he's not on it, or the team can't function to find him enough, we lose.

I was impressed with Stoke at home, they didn't play sparkling football but it was a fantastic away performance and N'Zonzi ran the show

This. Was just going to comment how impressed I was with N'Zonzi in that game. Didn't lose a header all game.
