  1. So Challinor does have a son at Durham uni, and there is a Freddie Pye from Leicester who also studies at Durham uni....
  2. If, big if, it was Challinor, would there be a bit of revisionism on here with regards to comments made about Top and Rudkin within this thread?
  3. Do we have any idea for definite who has and hasn't been a candidate? Im not targeting this at you, but people are getting very upset on here around a lot of information that has no credible links.
  4. Definitely ahead of Darren Ferguson
  5. Was there any serious link in the first place? Just hearsay and a FT meltdown wasn't it? Edit: looks like Nixon was the initial RM link, cant read his Patreon but the title of the story is 'Leicester make final bid for Martin'
  6. Back to Cavtat post getting married in a few weeks, was our first holiday together in 2015. Then have a week in Colorado in September for a friends wedding and Thailand for our honeymoon in November. I look forward to being skint for a considerable amount of time.
  7. I dont think we do announcements anymore.
  8. I think its become pretty obvious over the past weeks that this has pretty much become a showpiece and priority for the club, particularly in an attempt to try and buy time in having to comment on last season and make any form of announcements around next season. After this they pretty much run out of places to hide from addressing the fan base, let's hope we here something next week. As for the match, its pretty sad how much of a non-event it is. I remember when we won the title, my dad who was around 50 at the time said that nothing else would top that for him, it was the pinnacle of his time being a fan of the club. He asked me the other day if I was bothered about going along to this and I told him pretty certainly that I wasn't. How sad that those who have run the club have driven people like myself to such disdain that I'd quickly shut down the idea of getting to spend time with my old man celebrating one of the happiest moments of his and manys lifetime.
  9. Either moved elsewhere because of the sun or that end is emptying
  10. Hes a nothing manager. He was arrogant and uninterested in anyone or anything but his and his mates own wellbeing and career trajectory at Barnsley. Reflected in the fact hes now pressured a younger member of staff to do his bidding. He's not the person you want involved in your club at any level. As for his coaching ability, his stint at Southampton is very much the exception to what hes shown hes capable of previously. Steer well clear of the bloke.
  11. I dont understand the stance that they are essentially being fined £200m? Surely that only applies if they win against Hull and get promoted, which isn't a foregone conclusion, so on what grounds does that stand? They cheated, the manager owned up to it, and people within the club have got to be aware of it. You claim expenses in football if you have to go to the local supermarket to stock up on fruit and bits for the players, your telling me no one at the club is aware that one of their staff would be claiming mileage and expenses for their upcoming opponents. Eckart has admitted he thought it was a fair practice so seemingly they didn't hide the fact they were doing it? So how many people were actually involved or knew about it?!?!
  12. Pretty much everything they say is to generate controversy and conversation. There was a piece, I cant remember where discussing their stances of refereeing decisions a few seasons back on MotD. There were quotes of them both, particularly Lineker chopping and changing their stances on calls over the course of the season to suit the narrative for the clips then posted on socials.
  13. Ive just seen the Maddison rallying cry interview, we all know how this one ends bit of a recurring theme for James
  14. The lack of managerial appointment i can just about accept and understand, the lack of communication other than the post confirming our relegation and that we will be playing in league 1 next season, is baffling and massively frustrating. Just communicate.
  15. I personally couldn't be happier to see him with egg on his face, couldn't happen to a nicer guy, maybe his mate Gerhard but he was already found out
