I think its become pretty obvious over the past weeks that this has pretty much become a showpiece and priority for the club, particularly in an attempt to try and buy time in having to comment on last season and make any form of announcements around next season.
After this they pretty much run out of places to hide from addressing the fan base, let's hope we here something next week.
As for the match, its pretty sad how much of a non-event it is. I remember when we won the title, my dad who was around 50 at the time said that nothing else would top that for him, it was the pinnacle of his time being a fan of the club. He asked me the other day if I was bothered about going along to this and I told him pretty certainly that I wasn't. How sad that those who have run the club have driven people like myself to such disdain that I'd quickly shut down the idea of getting to spend time with my old man celebrating one of the happiest moments of his and manys lifetime.
