I live in Southampton and I’ve been dreading this game. Wearing the shirt to work tomorrow.

With the famous failures to make realistic statues of footballers (Kane and Ronaldo in particular), I’d like to see a statue that maybe doesn’t have too realistic a face. But it should be absolutely obviously Vardy - like an impression of him. Something like the cupped ears or the sh*thouse eagle celebration from Palace. Give him the Mohawk though.

Ipswich look like champions. They’ll go straight back down, but they’re playing like we should be.

I didn’t see the phrase “hate crime” in the article, but we’re all getting a bit worried about it. “Tragedy chanting” certainly stops short of the definition of a hate crime which is probably why it has its own punishment/ repercussion. it feels like there is a very short list of clubs against whom this law could be used. Prestigious company?

I’d like to beat these at full strength. If Ipswich drop points at Leeds, or if they draw, this 3 points is enough to make the Ipswich games immaterial. I didn’t mind losing to Leeds, because we picked those points back up really quickly.

If palace signed Bacuna to join their main striker, they’d have no worries for the rest of their days.
