  1. https://7a0.com.br/en This has given me world cup fever
  2. Definitely in the minority but I actually quite like the new Peterborough badge; at least they've not just put it in bloody roundel with the founding date either side
  3. £3 million (for argument's sake) is still a really good chunk at L1 level, there's plenty you could do with that. Cardiff last year said goodbye to a lot of players; spent about £1m and went up in 2nd. Bolton spent in the last summer window with about £1.5m on fees (they went up too). Of the top 6, none spent more than £2m. I do understand your hesitancy to sell and replace given Souttar's quality and the recruitment dept. being blind. But we do actually need *some* players for this fabled rebuild and his sale could really help fund it – he also won't want to play in L1. That said, there are plenty I'd sooner see out the door before him! We've droned on long enough though, drawing a line under it before we bore everyone to tears 🤝🏻
  4. I'm not suggesting 2m – why do you keep putting figures in my gob
  5. I don't disagree that the recruitment dept's shoddy recent record is cause for concern but we can't just never sign another player ever again The long term output would only "be a lot more" if we get it wrong though, it's all hypothetical? You're making a lot of assumptions and what ifs here. What if we get it right? What if we sign players that can get us up and then adjust like 08/09 and 09/10? I know I'm basically hanging my hat on us suddenly becoming savvy operators in the transfer market but when we can sell one player and potentially strengthen numerous areas with change left over then I'd veer towards selling. I think we're going to have to agree to disagree on this one! Again I like Souttar but I can't imagine he wants to piss about at League One level regardless.
  6. What's alleged about it? He didn't
  7. And I'm not suggesting we spend 3/4 million, obviously. I'd have thought that was implied! **** me
  8. But that's just how football works? You'd never sign any players at all if you were perennially worried about them not being any good?
  9. Not necessarily fees but yes, the idea would be to sign a replacement(s) on lower wages. I don't think it's a daft suggestion tbh – sell a player for X million and X cash, sign players that are cheaper, perhaps younger, on less money.
  10. I like him but we almost definitely do need to sell if he's on high end Championship wages
  11. Not sure if it's still there but opposite there used to be a small gaff that did naan breads in a tandoor oven and it was proper class
  12. Is Lee Circle Grade II listed? I'm sure I heard that somewhere before but there's nothing online. It's always had goblins pissing in the stairwells unfortunately; I don't think it'll ever reopen as a car park, not one that can make any money anyway. But then what do you do with a massive concrete helix in an absolute pit of an area?
  13. Even the season before he got the chop when they were flying to start (24/25) they had an absolutely honking run Nov to Feb – didn't win a game for three months in the league and barely scored in that run n all. Same season they won the cup but Scottish cup winning managers outside the Old Firm (in recent times) tend to fade away into obscurity, it's really hard to judge as a barometer of quality.
  14. I really don't think Thelin would be very good and I'm a big advocate of the Scottish league. Aberdeen were properly, properly crap when they binned him off.
  15. the new DJ Seinfeld album is v nice
