Filbert_Ross Posted 9 November 2010 Author Posted 9 November 2010 just noticed you can download 'bring the light' from 10am tommorrow.
Rocket-Ron Posted 9 November 2010 Posted 9 November 2010 Shame it will be ruined by Liams voice. Not always http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8wKaEdVPHvQ&ob=av2n
Babylon Posted 9 November 2010 Posted 9 November 2010 Not always http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8wKaEdVPHvQ&ob=av2n His voice is like hearing finger nails scrape down a chalk board for me now.
Babylon Posted 10 November 2010 Posted 10 November 2010 Download is available now....all I'll say is "Goodness gracious great balls of fire"!!.
Filbert_Ross Posted 10 November 2010 Author Posted 10 November 2010 hmmmmm not what i was expecting. not sure about what ive just heard.
Babylon Posted 10 November 2010 Posted 10 November 2010 hmmmmm not what i was expecting. not sure about what ive just heard. Sounds a bit 'Great balls of firey' and a bit 'Back in the USSR' in places. Think I'd get bored very quickly with it.
Jay Posted 10 November 2010 Posted 10 November 2010 Sounds a bit 'Great balls of firey' and a bit 'Back in the USSR' in places. Think I'd get bored very quickly with it. also sounds a but Primal Scream circa 1992 either way nothing very outstanding or ground breaking really
Babylon Posted 10 November 2010 Posted 10 November 2010 Either way nothing very outstanding or ground breaking really I don't think anyone expected ground breaking really.
Matt Posted 10 November 2010 Posted 10 November 2010 Just downloaded it, Abit disappointed, maybe a grower but can't see it. Roll on Noel's attempt (Which I thought would be better from the second the news broke that they were splitting)
Sparky Posted 11 November 2010 Posted 11 November 2010 Like the tune, lyrics not the greatest though. Like Babylon i also thought Great balls of fire.
Rocket-Ron Posted 12 November 2010 Posted 12 November 2010 It sounds as though they have taken it from "The great rock 'n' rolll swindle". Which is rather apt.
Mark 'expert' Lawrenson Posted 12 November 2010 Posted 12 November 2010 Just goes to proves what most people already realised, Noel was/is the talented one, although Liam is a great front man he doesnt have the songwriting skills of his brother, and also not forgetting the point Noel actually sings a lot of the songs better then Liam. One of the reasons Noel left Oasis if I remember correctly was lack of support from other band members, I cannot help thinking they have backed the wrong horse here.
Dickie Greenleaf Posted 12 November 2010 Posted 12 November 2010 also sounds a but Primal Scream circa 1992 That's insulting to Primal Scream
DMU Fox Posted 20 November 2010 Posted 20 November 2010 How i expected it to be really, not anything new, exciting or ground breaking but not terrible. I think i will wait until i hear some more before i really comment on whether im impressed. Tbh i will really care about what the Gallagher brothers do when Noel releases his solo stuff, which i have high hopes for.

Matt Posted 10 February 2011 Posted 10 February 2011 Heard 3 songs now, the one that was made availiable to download for free was very disappointing but 'The Roller' I have heard a few times, Quite like that, and just listened to 'Four Letter Word' for the first time and like that too, If they produce more of the latter as opposed to 'Bring The Light' i'm impressed. Can't wait to hear some of Noel's stuff though.
Filbert_Ross Posted 15 February 2011 Author Posted 15 February 2011 just got the album from piratebay.
MC Prussian Posted 12 October 2011 Posted 12 October 2011 Well, Beady Eye didn't last for more than 5 songs in Zurich yesterday Tuesday - before Liam had to call it an evening due to "vocal chord issues". Some fans, however who were at the gig, claim that Gallagher wasn't particularey interested in performing, anyway. He looked disinterested and the technicians had done a sloppy job. The concert in Vienna tomorrow Thursday has been cancelled.
