  1. Rudkin sorted it as part of his contract the kid is six
  2. What they won’t do is give him £10m per season for five years ! if he wants to go then they’ll take the compensation and bring in the next guy
  3. Politicians are so petrified of saying the wrong thing that they’re over thinking stuff and not really concentrating on the question. That’s one of the reasons why they don’t answer the question (there are other more weighty ones) - they probably couldn’t tell you what the question was!
  4. I reckon Ferrari will offer him whatever he wants
  5. she would provide budgets to be worked within As part of that she would ask the footballing side to identify sales and to provide amortised values of those sales. if the football side commit to making x amount of amortised sales which don’t then come to fruition then how is that the CEO’s fault. Ordinary she would be responsible for the failure of those below her but in this case, the failure is of the DOF who is on the same level as her. We have been told that the football side is run without interference from the commercial. Whelan does not get involved on the footballing side unless we need to get a deal done which our DOF is incapable of seeing through! at some point it becomes obvious that we’ll breach psr and then it becomes a decision for the chairman as to whether we do this with our eyes open and take the punishment when it comes.
  6. Whatever is voted through has to fit with uefa’s rules for those who want to play European football Tbh, it’s a mess whatever way you try and deal with it
  7. And then robins will challenge his players to put on a performance against Ipswich for their fans
  8. And yet for a few months afterwards it was a master stroke ! they didn’t want to announce it but someone found out and a Sunday paper were going to run with it
  9. What do you mean ‘if’ ? they’re about to appoint his successor!
  10. Can only be adrenaline keeping him going - surely the physio should be making him come off ?
  11. But we will not save his wages unless we pay off the difference between what someone will pay him after we’ve sold him and the 80k were contracted to for another two years another issue with paying excessive salaries
  12. I struggle to believe that whelan would have got the budget so massively wrong. She would work with assumptions given to her by the footballing side of the operation however, it could well be that given the options, the footballing side decided to breach the rules on the basis that the sanction would be a fine if whelan can show that she did her job and it was the footballing side that let the club down ( not just the relegation) then maybe she will survive. After all, she is a king power person and had vichai’s total trust. I’m not convinced that rudkin would go as I can’t see him getting an equivalent gig elsewhere. maybe someone comes in as sporting director above him.
  13. Not the best tackle to receive when you’re out of contract in two months …… if he’s got ligament damage then I hope the others who are off don’t begin to wonder about their commitment to 50/50 challenges on Monday
