Between 25 and 45 of us going , Magaluf was the initial favorite but currently considering other options , not bothered if its UK or abroad By the way anybody who knows me on here is more than welcome to come

billyfox1 Posted 6 January 2009 Posted 6 January 2009 I would recommend going abroad. For mine I am going to see Oasis in Manchester on the Thursday and then out in Newcastle on Friday and Saturday. By the time we bought tickets, transport, digs etc. it would have probably worked out cheaper to go abroad for a week

andyh1884 Posted 6 January 2009 Posted 6 January 2009 Mine was spent in Budapest, very nice city, plenty to see (wandered around for 2 days recovering for then next evening), even managed to take in a game - Ujpest vs someone, bought the club shirt on the way out in celebration of a resounding 2-0 victory. Fairly cheap & excellent nightlife

The date you've set will be brill too, as it's right in season A good idea is, for one night, you all go out wearing a plain white shirt, get people to sign it, and see who can get the most in one night, but only women can sign it. Worked very well for us, my shirt is hung on the back of my door. *Also an excuse for a holiday.
