From GTFox on the FoxFanzine site.

There are strong rumours at the Press Association this morning that Andy Kirk will sign from Boston now they are out of the FA Cup, a premiership midfielder (possible Graham Stuart Charlton)will arrive on loan and Scowcroft will leave for a nominal fee.

It is also suggested that Gemmell is leaving.

Hope there is some fact to this.

id rather have scowcroft than gemmell!!

I though Kirk was off to Doncaster!  apparently they've agreed a fee of 100k with Boston a fee we probably can't compete with! :(

How times have changed when Akinbyi was 50 times more expensive and the board didn't think twice about giving gaylor the cash. Like the sound of graham stuart coming though.

Graham Stuart would be a good loan signing, he has always impressed me.

I so hope Scowcroft and Gemmill leave.

Not sure about Kirk, I haven't seen him play enough but no doubt he is more of a long term signing rather than a signing to try and propel us into the play offs.

Two Stuarts  or Stewarts in the team would be great for the Radio!

Right all we need now is marcus stewart upfront and wer'e sorted for the 1st goal scorer betting! :P

from the muckery.......

Levein said: "There are no plans to bring anyone else in just yet. The close season seems the like-lier option and that is what we are working towards right now."

City have Danny Tiatto back for Saturday's home clash with Gillingham as he is free from suspension, and that is good news for Levein who reverted to his preferred 4-4-2 formation at Blackpool on Tuesday.

James Scowcroft filled in on the left there with Dion Dublin up front, but the former Aston Villa man is nursing a thigh injury which may keep him out and de Vries is still not fully fit.

Graham Stuart would not be a good signing. When did he impress you Ricey, 5+ years ago surely? That's an Adams signing no doubt about it.

How about trying to get o'neil or partridge?

O neil is currently playing in the Pompey tema , id go for Partridge though :)

I'm hoping we do sign Kirk ,i know he isn't proven in this divison , that's only because he hasn't had that chance! Lets give him a go :)

Further to my posting this morning, my contact at the Press Association is still hearing stories about imminent incoming transfer activity, however it seems that we are struggling to offload a couple of players we've had enquiries about to trigger this. Seems that Scowcroft for one may be proving difficult and prefers to sit tight until the summer when he is a free agent.

Thanks I was going to do a youth one, but you cornered the market, the pendant in the middle is a photo of the one I've got with signatures from the 1996/97 season including: Muzzy, Walshie, Lennon, Marshal, Pontus, Claridge to name but a few

He scored quite a few goals for Charlton last season was it? or the year before?

Stuart is a solid player, but we don't need him. If anything, we need a ball winner, not an attacking midfielder/narrow wide player.
