Father Ted Posted 1 September 2007 Posted 1 September 2007 Where does he stand now that marco ferriera has arrived? He is verstaile so... Plus Marco Ferreira might be a whole pile of horse crap
Pete_foxes Posted 1 September 2007 Posted 1 September 2007 does Ferreira play on the right? Because I thought he could play on the left?
Thracian Posted 1 September 2007 Posted 1 September 2007 Where does he stand now that marco ferriera has arrived? In the match squad as a right-back
Matt Posted 1 September 2007 Posted 1 September 2007 It's called competition, which is all good, keeps players on there toes!
Pete_foxes Posted 1 September 2007 Posted 1 September 2007 Is Kaebi still injured anyway? Because he wasnt in the squad for Forest or for Todays game against Argyle.
Flynny Posted 1 September 2007 Posted 1 September 2007 Kaebi can play all up the right-hand side, Chambers plays right-back, and Ferriera plays right-mid and left-mid. There's room for all three depending on form and injury.
Nod.E Posted 1 September 2007 Author Posted 1 September 2007 In the match squad as a right-backFair enough. but chambers? he's decent.Kaebi can play all up the right-hand side, Chambers plays right-back, and Ferriera plays right-mid and left-mid. There's room for all three depending on form and injury.Ah didnt know ferriera played left-mid.
Lord Nibblington Posted 1 September 2007 Posted 1 September 2007 Is Kaebi still injured anyway? Because he wasnt in the squad for Forest or for Todays game against Argyle. He had a run out for the reserves mid week. I suspect he's still getting back his match fitness.
Thracian Posted 1 September 2007 Posted 1 September 2007 He had a run out for the reserves mid week.I suspect he's still getting back his match fitness. He looked fitter than most to me. My immediate impressions were unreservedly good. Kaebi looks as if he would fit easily into any team. He's busy, fit, balanced, fast, passes the ball well and the only things I'm unsure of are his reading of the game, his end product and his decision-making reliability. Better than Chambers? I've no idea. Chambers looked excellent against Forest when two of his blocks were vital. Our problem is that we cannot play all our best players.

Though I wonder if even though he looked fit on the night, the lack of football over the summer meant he was in rather poor condition the following day. Hence his lack of involvement in the squad this weekend.

And what about Chambers and Kaebi down the right hand side?
Loake Posted 1 September 2007 Posted 1 September 2007 it all depends on who the new manager favours when he gets here, unless Milan is gonna pick the team
Father Ted Posted 1 September 2007 Posted 1 September 2007 it all depends on who the new manager favours when he gets here, unless Milan is gonna pick the team Nielsen Kaebi N'gotty Dj Campbell Carl Cort Chambers Clemence Ferreira Hayes Sappleton Rab Douglas (collecting wages but not playing is Milan's worst nightmare)

McAuley will probably have to give way when they're all fit. End up with something looking like: Fulop Chambers - N'Gotty - Kisnorbo - SheehanKaebi - Wesolowski - Clemence - FerreiraHume - Cort/Fryatt/De Vries/Campbell

With 5 forwards just imagine how many goals we will score!!!! And yes, I do get what you mean, but it was too good an opportunity to pass up

Lord Nibblington Posted 1 September 2007 Posted 1 September 2007 Ah. So it would seem we're appointing Ossie Ardilles as our new manager.
Father Ted Posted 1 September 2007 Posted 1 September 2007 Ah.So it would seem we're appointing Ossie Ardilles as our new manager. No, its going to be Pele, believe me. My dad's brothers cousin sisters wife niece's grandad wife's daughters husbands son's dog goes wandering the bins at Ebbsfleet United and he stumbled amongst a document saying that Pele has signed as Leicester's manager
Trumpet Posted 1 September 2007 Posted 1 September 2007 Hurrah! With 5 forwards just imagine how many goals we will score!!!! And yes, I do get what you mean, but it was too good an opportunity to pass up Probably 2! Too good of an opportunity to pass up
Steven Posted 1 September 2007 Posted 1 September 2007 Ah.So it would seem we're appointing Ossie Ardilles as our new manager. Would that be a bad thing?
Daggers Posted 1 September 2007 Posted 1 September 2007 With 5 forwards just imagine how many goals we will score!!!! One?
Thracian Posted 1 September 2007 Posted 1 September 2007 Where did Kaebi play for the Reserves? And what about Chambers and Kaebi down the right hand side? Kaebi played right back mostly. As for Chambers/Kaebi the problem would be not enough goals. You need to score goals from the flanks if you're going to play with wingers - which is why Gradel is such a rarity. There is this constant problem in modern football. Do you go for the wide jack-of-all-trades who supplements defence but can hold his own in attack. Or do you pick the specialist who scores goals/makes goals but has little energy left to go racing back defending. I doubt Chambers/Kaebi would have enough end product any more than Mattock/Porter. And if you don't have the goals from that source it puts more pressure on other sources.
