Don't get me wrong I never went today so don't know what the penalty appeals were like or whatever but we made chance after chance after chance and if you going to do nothing with thoses chances whats the point in making them in the first place? We must be 'unlucky' again...remember you make your own luck and that is by taking your chances which we had many of. Bring on the "That was the most diabolical referee i've ever seen in my career" I can hear it now. On the other hand we sounded like we played well.
Lillehamring Posted 8 March 2008 Posted 8 March 2008 The omens are not looking good! yeah, but not to long ago we were moaning cause it took 90 minutes to create a chance, there are plenty of teams around us, the teams that won this week lost last week. everyone is down there because they can't maintain consistency. i'm just hoping that the good performance we are putting in are becoming more regular. i think it's really just about that third spot now, and it could be any one from about 10 teams...

No, more of a tongue in cheek comment about Ollie blaming the referee week after week after week. And he's just done it now, BUT it was Barber who asked about it.

On the other hand we sounded like we played well. i think he'll do well to just say ' we played well, their keeper had a blinder, on another day we'd have won by a mile...' to be honest if he says we were unlucky, he's right in a way, yes we should have taken our chances, but equally it sounds like the goalie was sensational

Samilktray Posted 8 March 2008 Posted 8 March 2008 Ollie seems to be setting the team up to play in the right way and performance wise its working by the sounds and looks of things. Blaming him is becoming a bit tiresome now.
