Happy Fox Posted 10 August 2011 Posted 10 August 2011 http://www.skysports.com/story/0,,11708_7092294,00.html? A host of clubs are battling to land Barnsley striker Danny Haynes, skysports.com understands. The 23-year-old only moved to South Yorkshire in January when he arrived from Bristol City. But it already looks as if he could be leaving Oakwell less than 12 months into his career with the Tykes. Skysports.com understands a number of Championship clubs are keeping close tabs on him. It is believed Portsmouth, Burnley, Leicester and Hull Cityare all monitoring the situation.
Happy Fox Posted 10 August 2011 Author Posted 10 August 2011 Anyones thoughts would be a good backup, I would take him
FazzaF Posted 10 August 2011 Posted 10 August 2011 Not really heard of him, But of all the names involved, Surely we would get him.
Salieri Posted 10 August 2011 Posted 10 August 2011 Leicester linked to an unsettled striker? What a surprise.
bluearmyfox23 Posted 10 August 2011 Posted 10 August 2011 Dont know much about him but does seem tht we are gettin abit desperate ! <_<

FazzaF Posted 10 August 2011 Posted 10 August 2011 Glad I ain't the only one who don't know who he is
bluearmyfox23 Posted 10 August 2011 Posted 10 August 2011 is he the guy tht signed for them in january and scored 6 goals in his first 6 games might be wrong ?
wakeyfox01 Posted 10 August 2011 Posted 10 August 2011 He's more of a winger than a striker, looked promising at Ipswich a few years ago, but no idea how he's played at Bristol or Barnsley. He's lightning quick, but not sure if Sven would be looking at him
dannythefox Posted 10 August 2011 Posted 10 August 2011 Again a step backwards to who we could get no better than Waggy so what would be the point.
FazzaF Posted 10 August 2011 Posted 10 August 2011 is he the guy tht signed for them in january and scored 6 goals in his first 6 games might be wrong ? Sign him up!
wakeyfox01 Posted 10 August 2011 Posted 10 August 2011 Again a step backwards to who we could get no better than Waggy so what would be the point. On current form, most strikers in the Championship are better than Waggy. Like I said he usually plays on the wing and could be used as one of the wide players in our 3 up front. He would likely be back up if he came
Happy Fox Posted 10 August 2011 Author Posted 10 August 2011 He is a winger though as well and he was mostly deployed their for Barnsley so to score 6 goals in 20 app isn't that bad
Brainy Posted 10 August 2011 Posted 10 August 2011 surprised no one has mentioned that he was an absolute gem on a recent FM game.

lcfcsmith Posted 10 August 2011 Posted 10 August 2011 Great, a journalist sees that we want a striker and that other Championship teams are after a specific striker... This must SURELY mean that we're after him
Happy Fox Posted 10 August 2011 Author Posted 10 August 2011 As a right winger I would take him we need another winger in the side he is pacey, on the young side about 600k in price worth the gamble imo
Trav Le Bleu Posted 10 August 2011 Posted 10 August 2011 Danny Haynes sounds like Barry Hayles, so no.
Mikey Posted 10 August 2011 Posted 10 August 2011 I'm a fan of him. I'd take him if the price wasn't too steep.
J.Lisemore Posted 10 August 2011 Posted 10 August 2011 I'm a fan of him. I'd take him if the price wasn't too steep. I'm with you, hes not a bad player in my eyes. Got alot of pace thats for sure.
