  1. Love the bloke, absolute Leicester City legend for me. Always gives 100 per cent, and such a humble bloke. Underrated by every manager he has played for here, and had to be patient and fight his way in, which he done without any strops. A Premier league winner, a scorer of goals in Europe, an FA Cup and Charity Shield winner, and now a Championship winner. Marc Albrighton I thank you and salute you!
  2. I expect she will, she is a class above playing for us unfortunately.
  3. Ipswich absolutely deserve it, and then West Brom from the play offs, who I was very impressed with last week, and will take some beating! I quite like Southampton, ive spent time there, and found it to be a nice place with friendly people, but unfortunately they have Brussel Martin as manager. A bit bored with Norwich going up and down in recent years, and Leeds are Leeds! Ultimately though, anyone but Leeds!
  4. Or if Ipswich draw
  5. I look at it more, as hopefully a performance that will help Enzos career going forward. That he will learn from it. He is very new in his managerial career, and has his idea of how he wants his team to play, and that's fine, but as he is finding this season, there are times when that way isn't working, and you have to find another way. Last night will hopefully be a reminder for him going forward, that, that is fine too. He will become a better manager if he does.
  6. Oops I'm quoting myself, what a prat!
  7. He won't have been happy with having only 30 odd per cent of the ball. For him that means we aren't controlling the game. The reality is, if you are organised with the press and get it right without the ball, and move the ball with speed and purpose when you get the ball back, then you can have some semblance of control that way too, and can be harder to stop than taking 30 passes more than you needed too, to try break and opposing side down . We won the Premier League playing that way. Enzo needs to be more flexible in his thinking, and realise there is more than just one way of playing, that it's OK to mix it up when his way isn't working, and then he could go on to have an excellent career as a manager.
  8. Well he has his own companies too doesn't he. Doesn't change the fact, in my eyes at least, that if he does work for the BBC, and is the highest earning broadcaster on the BBC payroll, that he is in some part an employee of the BBC, and should be held to the standards and guidelines set out by the BBC. Guidelines that I don't agree with by the way, I think people should be able to air their own opinions regardless of the organisation they do work for, but ultimately the BBC didn't uphold him to theirs, despite doing so with others, and just used his "I'm freelance" explanation as a cop out, and an excuse not to discipline him in the way they would for some others.
  9. The Lineker isn't a BBC emloyee, he's freelance is a bit of a BBC cop out really. They used the excuse as a loophole so they didn't have to discipline him in regards to him airing his political views on his social media, which went against the BBC has to remain impartial mantra. The fact is, Lineker is the face of Match of the day, he is the main BBC presenter at World Cups and Europeon Championships, and also the main man at the BBC Sports Personality Of The Year. It's not like he is a guest presenter who is only rarely used. He may not be "on the books", but while he is working so much at the BBC, and being paid by the BBC, then he is in all but name a BBC Employee.
  10. It doesn't matter what Enzo should do for the West Brom game, because he will keep ploughing on in the same old way regardless. He will probably put Vardy in for Daka, but can't see him changing anything else. Personally I would like to see the guy from the hair bear bunch dropped for Coady, after costing us a number of goals recently, but can't see Maresca doing it.
  11. Certainly been a drop off since the manager issue. I know its not her day job, but the stand in manager has been poor in team selection and subs in my opinion.
  12. If Tierney wasnt injured, then a shite decision by the stand in manager to take her off. Took Rose off when she had her full back on toast. Massive drop off when the Japanese girls went off. Blew a great chance of making the final!
  13. Is O`Brien only allowed to run when she has the ball at her feet!
  14. I've reached a point now, where I feel that if we do go up, and it's a very big if, it will be inspite of the manager and not because of him!
  15. Not for a minute that I think this is going to happen myself, but the optimist wearing those blue tinted glasses would say, we win against West Brom Saturday, Leeds lose away at Boro on Monday after, and we will be promoted with a home win the following night against Southampton.
  16. Not as dynamic, but at least he can cross a ball. For all the fancy stuff that Mavadidi and Fatawu do, their crossing and final ball are appalling 99 per cent of the time.
  17. If we do stay in the championship, and it's looking likely, then I don't fancy our chances against you lot in our relegation 6 pointer next April, I have to say!
  18. No way Ricardo stays either
  19. I think we may get 15 points and transfer embargo in the championship. They are going to absolutely hammer us!
  20. Matt Piper summed him up perfectly, "casual arrogance". He isn't half as good as he thinks he is, and struts around the pitch like he feels he's way better than the level he's playing at, when the reality is the opposite! How Coady has not been brought in to replace him is gross mismanagement from Maresca.
  21. You can tell from the EFL statement that they've got the raging hump with us, moaning that we didn't send them a letter before starting proceedings against them. Their suggestion being, that had we just waited for them to meet and look at their own rules, they would have found that they couldn't do anything this season anyway, and so us starting proceedings against them was unnecessary. Complete bull shite of course, because if we had just let them do what they wanted, without the threat of fighting any action being implemented against us this season, you can bet that they would have conveniently overlooked their own rules, in favour of nailing us this season. I tell you this though, if we don't go up, they are going to come hard for us next season!
  22. Might even improve it, thats how lacking in quality some of them are!
  23. Worse performance of the season in my opinion. No urgency, no creativity and no quality. Moving Ndidi and KDH didnt work at all, and they should have reverted to their normal positions before 20 minutes into the game had passed by. Far too passive with the ball at the back too, Faes being the biggest culprit, and it was him losing the ball, and leaving Winks one on one that caused the goal. Basically it was shite of the very highest order!
  24. If De Zerbi moves on from Brighton this summer, which is a distinct possibility, then I wouldn't be surprised if Brighton came sniffing. He is mates with De Zerbi, and plays the same style of football. So would fit seamlessly into how Brighton play, and with a bit of money to spend on players. Us going up, is possibly as important to Enzos managerial career, in terms of him moving forward, as it is the club. If we don't go up, he will be looked on as a manager that messed up from a position it was virtually impossible to mess up from, with arguably one of the best squads ever to play in the championship. If we do go up though, he will be seen as a manager that even after suffering adversity, in terms of a loss of form, and all the off field stuff, he was someone who was able to turn it round and get us over the line. Our future very likely determines Enzos future in the short term at least.
