Jordan Ayew - NEVER PLAYING FOR LEICESTER AGAIN!!!
splinterdream replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
To be fair, when he first signed for us, he was putting in a shift, giving his all, but he’s not what we needed, and wasn’t a good winger, or striker, and has been slated by us fans from the off, sometimes quite personal, so if he’s read it, he probably hates us as much as you and others hate him. This is the clubs fault really, these players should have major incentives in their contracts, then perhaps we wouldn’t be in those situation -
Very odd today, I felt Rowett got a lot wrong today, coupled with low energy levels, led to the inevitable. I can't understand why Rowett took his time to change what seemed to me to be obvious, but then when a goal down, we were still passing around at the back, and if we did get the ball forward, we committed few players even when behind. Was all very odd. MOTM - Lascelles. Stinker of the match - Fatawu.

Because political agendas are being led by religious groups

It was £40m lost from not getting a European place but we should have been setting contracts based on merit bonuses, including Rodger’s contract
-
I’d leave him on the bench and play BDCR

Disappointed not to win it az I thought we were the better side but pleased with the progress. We have to stop those crosses though -
Stoke (A) 21/02/26: Pre-Match Thread

He's already aluded to squad being thin on the ground. We just dont have the players of good enough quality in key areas. Its alright having decent wingers as long as you can get the ball ro them fast enough, and then even if they get the ball into the box, you need a striker to finish. Our only hope is long balls into opposition key areas, squeeze and go for the second balls. I think Aribo could be key, but we need JJ and Vestegaard back at the very least and we stand a chance -
We have been like a gambler trying to recoup our losses but just made things worse.
-
I guess they're not disputing we broke the rules, more likely that the points cant be added retrospectively, that they should be added to the season we broke the rules
-
I dont think theres a lot he can do. We may survive if we get JJ and vestegaard back early enougb, with no further injuries, but i think we have a rag tag bunch of players that cant play together, theyre either too young, too old or just simply not good enough, no matter what they're being paid

some saying relegation would mean administration, but would it, or would it be liquidation? Our debts would be so large, would the club be worth buying at all. What i can't get my head around, is why we wouldn't have a relegation clause in players contracts, why wouldn't we have a standard step contract clause as standard in every contract, I can't see why a player would refuse this if it was highly unlikely we'd go down -
Wonder whether we'll go 4-4-2

I think i made my point that I dont think theres a lot a manager can do other than motivate, and Pearson can motivate. Of course he isn't my first choice or anywhere near my manager list if we were in a better financial situation, but im concerned Rudkin will sign a manager in some stupid contract, amd next season we're in league 1 going bust
-
What will keep us up is getting JJ, vestegaard and Ramsey back in the team
-
Not a lot a manager can do at this stage other than motivate. We need someone cheap and willing to come till end of season and for me Nige stuck out as the obvious choice, but was always gonna be a problem for rudkin
-
Do we have loans secured on next seasons parachute payments?

if our financial situation is as bad as we think it is, is it a good idea to hire a manager? will a manager make any difference? -
