  1. Playing Devils Advocate Maresca was given a 3 years contract and has massively exceeded expectations in a short time. Yes the Football is ponderous but recent poor results are more down to Vardy and particularly Daka not finishing chances otherwise the Leeds Bristol and Plymouth games would possibly have been won. You can only play with the hand that has been dealt you. Can the much maligned owners afford another complete change of management team for another uncertain result ?
  2. Get those excuses in early.πŸ˜‰
  3. He may not so ambivalent next time if it costs us points.
  4. Have also got to the point I'm afraid to check the scores live. Alexa what's the score Leicester vs .... Only to hear the opponents name come up first as in QPR 2 Leicester nil .😐
  5. Glad I'm not going to attend the Norwich game. A poor performance or even a defeat and the tabloids will have a field day. Strangely indifferent now to the rest of the season. Followed since 63 and we have won the League and Cup so -whatever. It's all financial boll .... now anyway.
  6. Not many will be queuing up with a points deduction players having to be sold and a toxic fan base. Steve Maclaren anyone πŸ˜‰
  7. As with most Premiership teams they have individuals that can turn a match in an instant despite being a shambolic club all season. Would play the majority of the side that earned us this tie at Bournemouth. Match is a free shot, just avoid a heavy defeat which allows the notion we are imploding at the sharp end of the season.
  8. Don't dismiss Southampton with a game in hand.
  9. Hope things don't come in threes. A third side that could do a double over us πŸ€”.
  10. Many Happy returns for tomorrow. As a 72 years old we must have experienced the same highs and lows - even now but never a dull moment πŸ™‚.
  11. Not entitled fans then
  12. Why ? It's competitive and we have a chance of winning matches. More honest than the clique that monopolize the Premier.
  13. And maybe some of us would just like to attend a match with a sense of anticipation and be entertained πŸ™‚ .
  14. Having been old enough to watch us lose 3 finals in the sixties , 69 at Wembley, not a hard choice , struggling at the bottom of the Premier or an F A Cup win πŸ€”
  15. I agree. I'm an old codger but just used to go to Filbo with no other expectations than hoping to be entertained , now fans seem obsessed with the financial aspect of the game - sad should be escapism.
  16. Vestergaard is back 100%.
  17. Makes the over the top comments of best Championship team ever seem even more absurd on Radio Leicester .Results have usually been better than performances this season.
  18. Confidence is a great asset , the feeling of invincibility with win after win has gone and now looking over our shoulder. Watching Ipswich and their free flowing football is chalk and cheese I'm afraid.
  19. Agree. But believe you are optimistic comparing this team to mid table Premier, would more likely be a Sheffield United or Burnley.
  20. But on the bright side the possibility of relegation is minimal - unleast until next season 😏.
  21. Leave to where ? Another Championship side at best All widely overrated on the back of a few good performances but not premier quality.
  22. Would you have settled for a chance of a quick return to the Premiership at the start of the season? Maresca has stabilised the situation and maybe we have been carried away by our start which was beyond expectations.
  23. And yet some were worried about relegation at the start of the season. Need a sense of perspective we have a good Championship side but miles off a Premier outfit.
  24. Hopefully that is tongue 😝 in cheek comment.
  25. I know the benefit of hindsight but I have never believed that our results equated to our performances. Maybe it's a levelling out process and we were never as good as the hype. Would another season in the Championship be a bad thing with the turnover of players too in the Summer ? Still believe Maresca is the man long term.
