32 and 1 year left on his contract, we can't be paying £5m
-
This is the important distinction. If you're working for a salary (even if that's £150k+ a year) you aren't the problem and I don't think should be overly taxed. It's those that live off the cream of their assets, often passed on through generations, are the group that needs to be targeted by a wealth tax. Unfortunately a lot of them sit in the house of lords/commons, or have close friends who do.

I turned it on for 5 minutes and they played better in those 5 minutes than I've seen us do all pre-season

Academy graduate Elliott Moore captains Oxford United in the Championship today.

Wait til they all realise he's actually shit in the air. Back to the days when McCarthy would smash it 50 yards up to Dublin and de Vries
-
I remember we played a 2 hour friendly against notts county at Seagrave once and tbh I'm glad it's not on YouTube

He missed AFCON so maybe he's not got the international appearances % so needs a work permit hearing? I'm not really sure of the post-brexit work permit requirements

Leicester 'could face points deduction next season'
Richard replied to ClaphamFox's topic in Leicester City Forum
The mixture of currencies in that tweet makes me doubt the validity of it. Apparently we've already offered him €4.6m and are now increasing it more? When he's only demanding €4m? I know we're a bit incompetent at contracts but I doubt even we'd do that -
23 years old and 68 premier league appearances. I still hold out hope he can make an impact next season
-
He looks very hands on. The players will either love him or hate him We rarely saw Rodgers so involved in pre-season and Maresca just shouted about shape constantly. Cooper seems very focused on team mentality and togetherness. He was even in amongst the players in the gym for testing. Brenda would've been in his office picking his nose and Enzo would've been having 3 course lunch with Guillem

Won't believe anything until Percy says so

With KDH going in last year's accounts it would seem we are compliant for 2023/24. As it stands we've added to our amortisation for 2024/25: Golding initial £3m on 5 year deal (£600k on the books) Decordova Reid £0 Okoli £13m on 5 year deal (£2.6m on the books) Assuming Fatawu ~£14m on 5 year deal (£2.8m on the books) We still have Daka, Souttar, Kristiansen, Faes, Soumare, Hermansen, Coady, Winks, Mavididi and Cannon transfer fees on the books also. Id say that's around £20m-£25m per year. All guesswork but assuming our wage bill is in a better position with Amartey, Soyuncu, Kasper, Albrighton, Barnes, Maddison, Evans, Praet, Iheanacho PL wages all off the books we might have room for 1 more signing without any outgoings this year. -
Wouldn't put it past a professional footballer to fly to Accra for a haircut tbf

Bc.game is a rebranding of a gambling platform called TGP Europe for Asian markets. TGP also have similar licensing agreements with other gambling sites who also sponsor premier league clubs. TGP were fined £300,000 last year by the gambling commission last year for inadequate social responsibility (it seems all of their 'safer gambling' stop measures are run by AI and no humans are involved) and for, amongst other things, no money laundering protocols for its licensing agreements. It would seem to me there's some kind of money moving around behind the scenes between BC.game, TGP Europe and a number of premier league football clubs so we're certainly not alone in this. It's essentially a more complex Trestellar ltd from 10 years ago

England GK coach Margetson was at Swansea with Cooper and left with him when he went to Forest.
-
Judging by his insta he's still in Ghana
-
Happy if he's staying as it leaves more room in PSR to bring in new players.
-
July 1st so the compo comes out of next season's accounts. Maybe they think the Enzo compo received is enough to cover our shortfall from last season? Therefore no need to sell KDH. Nothing will get done before the euros anyway, so no point worrying
-
Yes Barnes was 22 and KDH was 23 when they made it to our first team. Alves and Braybrooke are 19

This afternoon he reported Chelsea are buying Osimhen for Maresca. Talking shite

Steve cooper. Cheap and proven track record of developing young players and working with unbalanced squads
-
Because we can’t afford to
-
It’s a shame this got buried under a discussion of Moyes’ tactics
-
Best of luck to him. Even if we wanted to, we’d never offer him a 5 year deal

First pub I ever got a (legal) pint in!
