such a sexy trophy

lmao, "you've just scored the winning goal on the FA Cup final, let's talk about when you were rejected as teenager"
-
gotta love it
-
not really a fluke if it's offside
-
I remember hoping the night before our final that we wouldn't be 1-0 up going into the last ten minutes. Didn't think I'd be able to handle it. Just a horrible feeling.

Come on Palace

I think the point is he doesn't care. It's just a way for him to get a bit of publicity and further cultivate the image he's created for himself. Social media is about ideal self and gaining kudos, not genuine debate

I love the smell of cognitive dissonance in the morning...

Would agree. Very difficult technique. Probably the most forgotten great Wembley goal. -

Bloody hell don't try and tackle him then lads. Not like it's the cup final or anything. -

To be fair they also won a couple of cup games on penalties. Let's not do them a disservice.

I have noticed quite a few of my acquaintances will endorse or repost literally anything that has an anti-Zionist message on social media without any evaluation of the source or the imagery and wording, even some stuff that is quite clearly dodgy. It could be that they are genuinely antisemitic but I think most just don't engage in any kind of critical thinking before chasing madly after the dopamine rush of likes. Like a pheasant that's nearly been hit by cars five times in a minute who decides to cross the road again because they see something shiny on the other side.
-
I think he's not particularly bright so I doubt he thought about the imagery. His takes are mostly quite banal and cringy
-
People talk about the 'woke right' which I think is quite a good term for these people. Their performative outrage, targeted at opponents they want to do away with, is very similar to much of the far left they despise.
-
'Middlesex' sounds a bit woke. Glad to see us standing up to this kind of nonsense
-
I'm not ready for this. Seeing him walk down the tunnel at the end is going to be quite gut-wrenching I think.

would be very this season if decides to play against Bournemouth and still doesn't score his 200th

Usually VAR is the first thing that pops into my head after a goal is scored now, unless it's an absolute screamer, but weirdly on that occasion it didn't. I just remember thinking there was no way we'd score again because we'd brought on Morgan and Hamza.

this is going to be an almighty cringefest isn't it -
Any links to the full BBC programme anywhere? It was up on Iplayer for a while. Lots of stuff on youtube but I'd love to see all the build up again.
