Worst performance you've seen live from a Leicester player

Wasn't it 5 seconds to go? -
I swear interrupting has got way worse in the last couple of decades. Also stubbornness and refusal to engage with others' points. Impact of social media discourse I guess. We are all now just angry twitter accounts shouting into the void.

Mehdi Hasan and 20 far right Americans in a room. Can we lock the door and not let any of them out ever?
-
Going to go for 6. 5 of which will be underwhelming.

When I lived in Bulgaria we found a place that sold draught Bernard which was great as the local stuff was crap. Great beer.
-
Half of British kids seem to speak like Americans. Not just the vocabulary but even some individual sounds. I suppose in the early 20th century people in the colonies were desperate to dress and sound like English gentlemen....
-
A lot of them are true 'Anglosphere' believers. Maybe because of their age they still see Britain as an equal partner in an unofficial Anglo union spreading free markets and liberty around the world.

@sdb I go to Trapani a lot and thankfully it doesn't seem to have been overrun by Brit tourists yet. Sleepy town and a good base for some really beautiful beaches and islands nearby. Great food obviously. Sicilian seafood but with a Tunisian influence.

Those English politicians who claim to be the most patriotic are also the ones determined to cement our position as America's most loyal province.

Perhaps then an underrated benefit of social media and the internet in general is that it shines a light on these dark corners of our society we'd rather pretend don't exist. Not gonna lie it does feel a little like society is coming apart at the seams at the moment but sure maybe it's always been that way.

Are you accessing foxestalk on Internet Explorer?

Agree that 87/88 is a beauty. 09/10 was nice just because it was without a sponsor. 20/21 I like just because I have very fond memories of that season despite the lock outs.

Alex Scott is a really bad presenter and has been promoted by the BBC despite her lack of talent. And that's not a complaint about woke female presenters or whatever, there are probably better female sport presenters on the BBC than male ones. But Alex Scott is nowhere near to being one of them.

Hammill vs Shef Wednesday 2006. Looked like an amateur. -
That's not a very comforting explanation though, that these cases are prevalent but in the past we didn't hear about them as much. And there does seem to be a startlingly high number of high profile child abuse cases coming to light in England, involving both organized gangs and individuals as with this case. I feel like almost every month a story comes to light in England that previously would have caused massive notoriety and disgust, but now seems more like par for the course.

Guy who voted to kneecap his own country's economy to annoy people who only exist in his head thinks teenagers are not responsible enough.
-
Would be more interesting if voting rights were based on things like favourite foods or contents of bookshelves. Obviously anybody with a book by Rory Stewart should be disenfranchised.

I think Brits are pretty brainwashed about the BBC to be honest. It produces some good stuff from time to time but I haven't seen anywhere near the same level of love for or trust in the state broadcaster in other countries.
-
No it doesn't, the BBC is happy for 'misinformation' (I hate the term) to go unchallenged. This is a channel that promoted Nigel Farage and tried to portray Joey Barton as a thoughtful political thinker in the 2010s.
-
Watch literally any episode of Question Time from the 2010s
-
There is so much false information the BBC allows to be spread on its news programmes and discussion shows on the basis of remaining 'impartial'
