No guests this year apart from my Dad for Christmas dinner who we have every year. We normally go a little OTT with the food but calmed it down as we not entertaining this year. Like @Free Falling Foxes said, Christmas eve is the best day I suppose.

Well this is the thing, I finished work for the year Friday so MY Christmas started as soon as I clocked out 😂 but my missus is working till Christmas eve. We have done the main shop and stored it away. Thing is I noticed some things like apple pies and pork pies best before dates have 23rd December and 25th December so me being a fat bastard and I thought I had a valid excuse, so I started on them wife wasn't to pleased but like I said, I had a valid excuse. Thing is the nuts, pringles, selection of cheese's and booze etc are just calling out to me but I don't have an excuse to start. I know the dates above are still in date and are ok after but I know if I don't eat them noone else will, I have very fussy kids and I'm not wasting them. So I think you are right about Christmas eve. I won't have any more Christmas food till then. You wait until she realises the loose nuts have disappeared, I was trying the new nut crackers out! I honestly was!

But at least you will get home

On the sick at the moment and it is so boring, I'm actually missing going to work. Nothing ever to watch on the TV and sick to death of channels constantly repeating absolute drawn out pointless shite TV. All it seems to be is building cars, selling cars, rebuilding after buying a car, Richard fvcking Hammond, boring cringe gameshows and the usual god awful daytime TV. Don't get me wrong, I love cars and all kinds of documentaries but how people can sit on their arse all day and watch reruns every 3 hours is beyond me. I'm still trying to figure out why the fvck i pay Virgin over £100 pm! 😡 so yesterday I put on Netflix and I had a recommendation that was Taboo. 20 hours later and I'm on my final episode. This has been a great watch but I'm still quite lost 😂 A very very dark period ermm......drama? Tom Hardy is very good and the cast is brilliant! Anyone else saw this? Gutted that it's my last episode as I'm gonna be on the mend for quite a while but I think I may do the same after this and just jump into something whilst I have many hours to burn.

Always done this myself. Although I have forgotten a few times and woken up with some of the worst hangover's known to man. I suffer with migraines without a tipple but they are really bad when hungover. I also used to have 2 before I went out.
