Who ever is charge of recruitment and for sanctioning the signing needs to be sent packing. Without going too far back I would defo need to question the signing of Cannon £7.5m for a player who we will be waiting for his potential to show when he is 28! I think investigations need to be had for any links to Everton for money laundering. VK, Souttar, Soumare, all should have been sold as priority during the last 2 windows, they were never in the plans. Also Luke Thomas should be sold not in the plans. Who sanctioned the signing of Caleb when we got no funds and were not really short of CB's? We signed Golding for £5m but one for the future? when we got no money we cant afford to but for the future when we have a thin squad. The club seem to be sleepwalking into the new season hence the pessimism on here, me included. Last year we had Maresca who was a stubborn mule with his Plan A and Plan A only, but when it worked we looked like a Premier league club playing in the championship, this year we are looking like a championship club playing in the premiership. The club need to make some serious decisions especially in transfer market. We need to sell Thomas, Souttar, VK, Soumare and Daka. The latter clearly isn’t working. Clear some of the players that don’t seem to be in any plans generate money and go buy younger hungrier players. Not BDCR and it’s worrying that we are linked to Jordan Ayew WTH!

Watching the last few friendlies I’m struggling to see what his tactics or plans are? I was hoping he would have been braver especially during friendlies to try new things and also give younger ones a chance, but today was dire.

As a small club we are spoilt let’s face it we are not the big 6 and even though threatened to break into it we are where we are. I wouldn’t change this club for any club we have highs and lows but our trophy cabinet is more full than a lot of the others. We need to celebrate every win yea we lost today but we won the championship! Sometimes this negativity really gets on my man boobs!!!

A bit of a conundrum for me for this game. my wife’s cousin a Preston fan offered me a seat with him for this game but slight issue. 1. Imagine a world where Enzo tried something different for the rest of the season: - drops Daka so he doesn’t even make the bench - plays Coady - scraps the inverted right back and has overlapping full backs - plays two up front with one being Vesty!! - brings albrighton back - wins a game! I may go back to sleep to dream this

The goal at Plymouth and at Millwall both came from a similar position so that tells me the inverted right back leaves us exposed. Our focus is more on brining another man in midfield to pass side ways too then to be more direct. Yesterday you could see certain players were trying but it’s like we are a playing with a man down our striker is beyond useless. I would rather stick vesterguard up front and lump it then try to walk it in. The casual arrogance comes from over confidence in the style which is being found out

When Daka plays he gives me hope! hope that I can still make it as a footballer and I’m 50! I’m a bigger goal threat than he is, and I’m sitting at home! I hate to say it but I’d rather any of the other 3 play the rest of the season. I think patience has now run out.

That fight back was on the fans as it was getting obvious that we weren’t passing to fatawu so when the jeers started happening it opened the pitch up. We did the same the last few games by over using mavadidi and became too predictable. I hope they come out firing and Enzo don’t give them a cup of camomile too calm down!!

If we bottle it and don’t get automatic promotion then we are done. We ain’t got the courage or the bottle to play in play offs, the team don’t have the spine to show fight and looking at Enzo today, he makes no sense he has a huge bench which he doesn’t use and sticks with his favourites. Todays loss is solely on Enzo and for not seeing the plan was not working and not doing really anything to change it. The casual style of play is getting frustrating to watch, does he have that much power that he controls the style of play or do players not think sod this and go for it? How do you lead the championship and loose fans?
