You can tell we're in the s**t when you've got people pining for and reminiscing about Ayoze Perez
-
Can you imagine that in the King Power? Just wouldn't happen with all the KPFC fans. "Leave him alone, we won the Premiership because of him!" "We got free donuts and a beer - we'd be in League Two if they didn't save our small club!"
-
Smithers will definitely be here until the day Top decides to leave imo. Saying that, Top could potentially win back a lot of favour if he cut ties and got rid right now and then did a good job replacing him and employing the other top level management. Just can't see it though, its like JR is his only friend at the club.

Had to double check this as the post made me question myself but Taggart and Morgan were both 28 and Sinclair 27 when they joined. Huth was actually 31 so the only one similar -
Could be Pep now we've signed Divine Mukhasa?

It genuinely feels like some chump has started playing Football Manager with our club. Signing a 29-year old Aribo from a fellow bottom-half Championship side on loan. Also about to sign an absolute crock on sky-high wages at CB. This feels like a sick joke.

What is going on at our club

So what you’re saying is that any team that goes down to ten men at 0-0 will always lose the game. Naivety in who went off in that first sub cost us the first half. Okoli has let the team down but it didn’t mean we had to just surrender any chance of trying to score, Ayew struggles with support let alone without any.
-
Decordova-Reid at 10 with no striker would be better than Ayew up top with no one. i love kingy but even I could see that
-
Not sure how you’ve come to that at all. We made Coady look like prime Pirlo at certain points in the first 15mins
-
Ayew is an absolute slob, said it was a sign of the impending downfall of the club when we signed him and that performance was up there with some of those put in by Junior Lewis, Robbie Neilson and Soumare v Blackburn in the cup. Should never play for us again but with just him and Daka, one of the clowns will inevitably have to start.

Leicester Mercury/ Leicestershire Live

Has anyone else noticed that Leicestershire Live now has 'premium' articles for which if you want to read you have to pay £5 a month? Yeah good luck with that one guys! -
I say leave it with Kingy until the end of the season. Main urgency and focus now should be on getting in the right staff above the manager in the next month, and let them be part of the selection process for the next manager. Rushing to get someone in now while options are limited I can just see it going wrong and then us having to do it all again at the end of the season or early next season anyway.

Probably 4 or 5 years of questioning myself as to why we've managed to fail so badly as a club in pretty much every area we can. 5/10 minutes of this interview and it's literally a 'oh, ok that's why' reaction.

Coventry (A) - January 17th 12:30pm - Pre Match Thread

A lot of Cov fans at work saying this is our 'cup final' because they're top of the league and suddenly that means the last 20/30 years history means nothing. -
I'd second this if you're still there on the Sunday. Had a great sunday roast in there a couple of months ago.

It's true but the Wolves fans will likely all be on the same page with their protests. Because of 2015/16 and the FA cup win, for at least probably half of our fanbase and most likely more, it does not matter how bad things get now, because KP were in charge for that they can basically do no wrong now. That's why protests here will never gain enough traction to be effective as there will always be naysayers and KP defenders telling us to be 'careful what we wish for', that we 'owe KP for what we achieved' or that 'we were in League One once'. I think we'd have to be languishing in League One again for half of them to wake up.

Some of the shops are taking the mick this year though. I went in Home Bargains and they had loads of Christmas stuff in, but the store manager told me it was for Christmas next year! and that they're just trying to get ahead.
