I know it's not a game you play on console it's a PC game, but anyway I was bored yesterday so I downloaded it to my xbox gave it a go. I had a bad feeling at the manager 'creation' screen which looks like it's gone backwards tbh. Then I got about 45 minutes in to the game, I'd started sorting out the squad and staff and then it just inexplicably had an 'error' when I clicked continue and it closed itself down. When I rebooted the save file went back to the beginning of the season. Turned it off and won't bother again. I'm hoping the PC version isn't as much of a sh**show.

Does anyone know if this will make general sale? Hoping it doesn't sell out before. In all seriousness, how strapped for cash are we as a club if we're actually charging people to go and watch something like this? I love Abdul but come on. Like someone said it will be on the YouTube channel a week after.

I drove down Narborough Road yesterday and I think if you take the time looking at the shops, restaurants and clientele you'll see it's a mix of pretty much every culture going. However one thing I will say is the place is an absolute state, pretty much from the bridge just past KFC, all the way to the large Tesco. There's litter everywhere, shops and houses just dump bin bags and cardboard boxes out on the street. There was a butchers down as you get closer to Braunstone Gate and one of the butchers was sat on a chair outside, smoking, all whilst still in his butchers 'whites' - the whole place is disgusting. You look at some of the buildings and houses on that road, particularly up near the Iceland and the side streets there, and they're lovely big houses. You can see that at one point in time it was probably a grand area to live in that had a bit of prestige about it but nowadays its just lots of overcrowded HMO's full of people who don't care what their area looks like and are happy dumping a fridge, mattress or sofa out on the street.

So the last £15 payment comes out (for me) at the end of this month and then I read that as of November 4th the new prices are in place. I am cancelling at the end of this month and then will see how much it's missed for the first few months at the very least. I am in the same boat as you - it's not unaffordable and the kids use it, but it's the principle of such a massive hike, not that long after we had a price rise before. We have games we've bought that don't get played so that's what will be played.

How long do we think it will be before this is rolled out in the UK? The concept of Game Pass is something I used to dream about as a kid and something I've felt has been good value for money for a few years. However it seems, especially in the last 24-months, that the price has constantly crept up and with time and opportunity to play (for me) starting to dwindle, I can't justify those prices and I don't think I'd downgrade to the lower packages as I guarantee half the games I'd want to play won't be included. I think it's back to focusing on one game when I get the chance to play and/or replaying older games. Could be a massive backfire for Microsoft this one.

Completely agree, just killed any excitement or passion for Tuesday/Wednesday nights. A league table where half of the teams never play each other is just wrong. I get it, but it's wrong and doesn't mean anything. At least in the old 4-team group format there was some jeopardy in pretty much every game.

Jesus christ, foxestalk finds new depths. It's crazy how you can follow a forum and see poster's who seem relatively normal over a series of years, who then pop up with that one opinion or point of view that just bowls you over. For me it's not a 'social stigma', it's your family.

I've got kids and the thought of them growing up to marry one of my brother or sisters kids makes me feel sick - any business or discussion like this needs to be nipped in the bud. NHS needs to stay well out of this other than explaining the risks of your inbred kids potentially having serious health issues. I

Interestingly I did the Loros Elephant walk a couple of weekends ago with the wife and child and it was a real mixed bag. Walking through the High Cross shopping centre and then around the Cathedral and Loseby Lane and St Martins - I actually thought that Leicester city centre does have some really nice areas. That and then parts of New Walk as well (although there were a couple of shady characters around there). In contrast, when we walked from the Haymarket shopping centre, down Humberstone gate and then galowtree gate down to the Town hall square it was horrendous and there were a few times we felt a little unsafe with our little one - some really dingy places, litter and a lot of homeless people or people with what I assume were either drug problems or poor mental health issues. In the space of a weekend we saw two massively different sides of the city within just minutes walk of each other.

I went for dinner at Veeno with the Mrs who loves a wine and even for me, not much of a wine lover, they did have some nice ones that we tried. Edit - just realised the thread, not really a pub

Do the club own that land? Have a feeling now we have the make-shift fan zone opposite the fanstore that they wouldn't consider this now.

22 years later and most of where the ground stood is still an eyesore to this day, mounds of earth and overgrown grass. Does anyone know what's planned for this land (if anything) or who owns it?

Amazing how a little bit of fight and a bit of passion in a performance can lift your whole mood with the club and football as a whole. Woke up this morning feeling really positive and I think it’s probably the first time in a couple of years. Lots to improve on obviously but a real feel good feeling from a bit of grit and determination showed by the players.

My genuine suggestion would be to have a little break from all forms of news and social media etc. get yourself out for a walk down Braggy park.

As someone who is crap with numbers and accountancy - that kind of thing - say hypothetically we received a lump sum of £30m for this sale, the LCFC bank account had a deposit of £30m from Palace. How would Top or King Power, actually take the money out of the club at this point and how would it show on our accounts? Can KP/Top just take money out of the club if they wanted to? Having just done a very quick tot up in my head (again not the best with numbers) of the Macquarie loans, player sales, TV and other bits and pieces of income, against what we've potentially spent on wages, player purchases etc. and it just doesn't seem to add up, where's all the money gone?

Things will definitely come full circle though eventually. I think at some point a main selling point for a business will be that they're fully 'AI-free' or boast a 'completely human workforce' or something like that, with people maybe paying a premium for something more authentic and human.
