Birmingham are coming up from League One with one of the best records ever (maybe even the best ever), and then it's a pick from Wrexham Wycombe Charlton Athletic Stockport County fighting for the second and thus last automatic promotion spot. Plus: Leyton Orient Reading FC

Comedy Highlights Of A Terrible Season
MC Prussian replied to Skidmark's topic in Leicester City Forum
All the amount of times we've tried to counter or initiate a swift attack during matches. The fact that our Social Media team can't read the room. The LCFC Online shop being down for five weeks and counting. During a season, mind. -
There'll be plenty of applications. Don't underestimate a "decent manager" his crave for a challenge. The Championship is a highly competitive and very attractive league. Smart *decent" managers will see the potential in our younger players and the pros within this squad and work from there.

Fischer. Simply for the Swiss element. Been missing for too long since the Berner days (Inler was unfortunately just a blip in the grand scheme of things). But in all honesty, man can manage. What he did at Union was nothing short of amazing. We need that kind of (fighting) spirit.

One more thing to look forward to next season. No worries about yet another clanger from our top Welsh goalkeeper!

There's potential and hope for next season. On the whole, we have a competitive squad at hand. However β first of all, I'd get rid of all the players that did not want to be here in the first place and showed a distinct lack of effort (or talent). Also, most older players can go. Goalkeepers: Can we finally find a buyer for Ward? Defenders: Sell Faes, Vestergaard and potentially Coady. Convert Kristiansen into a centre-back. Give Okoli a starting role, think about converting Justin into a winger and give Coulibaly the chance to shine, and Luke Thomas, too. Ben Nelson could be back for a full season. Are we counting on Harry Souttar? I think in terms of CB, we'll be a bit spoiled for choices. Midfielders: Sell SoumarΓ©. Play Skipp and see if his price tag is justified. Winks (if he stays) could redeem himself. Ricardo Pereira has flourished in midfield, I must say. El Khannouss looks promising, and maybe we can get a deal for Buonanotte, I like him as a player. If not, find a more experienced attacking midfielder. Wingers: Apart from a few instances. Cordova-Reid and Ayew have been very underwhelming. Simply never fitted in here, they just trotted along and appear to be in for one final paycheck. Sell. Mavidi can be selfish at times, but he's talented and a threat going forward. With McAteer and a recovering Fatawu and another talented young(er) left-winger, I think we'd be spoiled for choices. Strikers: Keep Vardy. Don't know what to make of Daka. What was the point of signing Edouard and selling Cannon? Still need two more strikers. Anyone in the academy good enough to fit the fourth slot? Also: If we do β can we please sign players that aren't past their prime? In general, improving our defense should be priority number one. Our back four should be feared, not the butt of a joke! We ought to be very tough to break down and work from there. Just look at what Burnley are achieving in the Championship this season, incredibly low goals-against average! We need more presence and punch in midfield. And leaders to carry attacks forward. We^ve been way too lightweight in the PL so far this season and been brushed aside too easily. There's been a distinct lack of cohesion and attacking intent. And we're in dire need of a manager who prioritizes discipline and teamwork above anything else.

Liverpool H 0-1 Post Match Thread. We are relegated.

The fight and defensive cohesion against Liverpool yesterday was commendable, but ultimately futile. We lost our place in this league a long time ago. If you ship more than two goals per game on average, you deserve to go down. We could've had the chance to build from a solid back four, making it difficult for the opposition to break us down. But then again, we've been treated to: James Justin, who is more of a wingback or winger than a right-back β found out numerous times on this level, his tracking back and positioning is questionable to frustrating Wout "Bombscare/Braindead" Faes, who sees himself as a David Luiz incarnate, minus the talent or the flair. All over the place in most matches. Conor Coady, who is a solid Championship player, but out of place in the PL. Viktor Kristiansen, who simply isn't a left-back, more a left centre-back, as he lacks the pace as well as the agility on the flank. What works in a (slower) Serie A doesn't automatically work in the Premier League. Yannick Vestergaard, who is approaching 33 and not PL material (anymore). -
Can we address the elephant in the room here? Our central midfield has been crap to non-existent this season, especially going forward, apart from a few glimpses of genius or creativity coming from Buonanotte or El Khannouss here and there. I've said it elsewhere, it's criminal how Vardy has been left up to his own up front. No service from midfield whatsoever. The others have mostly been playing around him, instead of with him.

No goals scored at home in NINE games. Pathetic excuse for a team β and for a club. Amateurs. -
Will he do the honorable thing and walk?

Should be going back to Manchester United. -
Still down in this part of the world (the Continent).

Seven minutes to win this.

I was so looking forward to that.

Last time we've kept a clean sheet was in early October... Over half a year ago.
-
Down for at least five weeks now. During a season.
-
Brainead giving the ball away after that Ndidi shot. Who was it? EDIT: Bobby.

And yet he's been given a starting spot. Blame the manager.

"Leicester have to win" Won't make any difference. We're not going to win six games straight β and West Ham aren't suddenly going to collapse at this stage of the season. Looking forward to another 46+ games season. To a season with a lot of this squad's deadwood and has-beens gone.

In general, we need players - that actually want to play for the shirt - that don't command outrageous wages and fees - that can play football (skill-wise) - that aren't past their prime A competent, sturdy, tough center midfield would be nice. And defenders that can actually defend. And a manager who knows what he is doing. Shame on the management in the past few transfer windows.

"Legion" (originally on FX) is surprisingly good for a superhero TV series with a limited budget (albeit there are some SFX involved). Imagine making the most insane superhero β a telepath with telekinetic powers who happens to be schizophrenic β your protagonist. I want Seasons 2 and 3 on Blu-ray so bad, unfortunately there seem to be only pirated copies made in China available.

In terms of lifecycle, a Switch 2 was overdue. It's been 8 years since the introduction of the first one. You see other consoles getting major updates after four, five years. The console itself isn't the issue for me. I've preordered one. I think in terms of technology it's a great step forward. Let's also not forget they've upgraded the docking station. Adjusted for inflation, the NES was more expensive, the SNES on a similar level. What I find disappointing is Nintendo's pricing for the Switch 2 games. We've seen game prices falling for the past few decades, and now the're becoming more expensive again. Also, the "glorified updates" for certain titles seems to be a bit of a scam. The differences in graphics would need to be major in order to justify shelling out big bucks again for what essentially is the same game. Add to that the absurdity of having to pay for a game that explains the console for you. I do hope Nintendo to be more straightforward and open about what games are down-compatible. I don't want to renew my entire games library.

Brighton "six games without a clean sheet"... Have you seen LCFC?
