  1. Vestergaard and Faes both top scorers for us this season.
  2. Good on Faes. Adds a few millions to his market value.
  3. Patson Daka strikes again. Not.
  4. ONE of our players is somewhat up for it, that is Fatawu. The rest? Pretty much ineffective, partially disinterested. Half-time talk better be good.
  5. 1-0 down at home, against a decimated Sheffield Wednesday.
  6. Yes, does look like two different shades of pink...
  7. Wrexham, deary me. Southampton escaping a dreadful defeat with two late goals.
  8. That was a stunner of a free-kick. Couldn't be any later.
  9. Southampton on course for 12 points in the Championship this season... Losing at home to Wrexham. Shambles.
  10. VfB Stuttgart third:
  11. Cremonese away:
  12. That's what she Wilf's opponents said on the pitch.
  13. You can criticize Rudkin fair and square, but I think it is sensible to sell first, before buying new players. Let's not forget these transfer dealings can take up a lot of time before coming to fruition. There will be a few more outgoings, I'm sure of that. Having said that, I do expect us to sign at least three new players before the transfer window closes – an attacking midfielder, a striker and a defensive midfielder. I think the club sees the opener against Wednesday as less of a challenge (no disrespect to the opposition), so no immediate squad improvements needed.
  14. Birmingham signing Marvin Ducksch means they mean business. Guy's a machine up front.
  15. Cesena's 85th anniversary home kit: They even have a special "gold" goalkeeper shirt:
  16. Three, four years ago, I'd have been much more sad about Ndidi changing clubs. He was a dynamic, athletic, fast, tenacious defensive midfielder in his early days with us. People are fast to forget that he was part of a team of champions when he joined. And despite all the positive attributes, to me, he'll always be remembered for the player who gave the ball away. Constantly. His tackling skills are (or were) impressive, but he had to make up a lot of times for giving the ball away himself, stifling attacks in the process. Then, during the 2019/2020 season, injuries started to take their toll. The reign of the old guard had to end at one point. Goodbye, Wilfred. Maybe you can resurrect your ailing career in Istanbul, I wish you the best.
  17. If you haven't done so, read "Hiroshima" by John Hersey. Tells the tale of several individuals just before the bomb drops and how they deal with the aftermath.
  18. Terrace selling the 25/26 Morecambe kits anyway, in order to recoup costs. https://www.lancasterguardian.co.uk/sport/football/weve-got-about-ps50000-to-ps70000-worth-of-stock-manufacturer-plans-to-sell-morecambe-kits-5246942 Fans were first today: (Photo courtesy of Premier League Fan Banter)
  19. The clickbait on Social Media is strong with this one. One site claimed he was a "proven goalscorer".
  20. Will probably always be remembered for his goal contributions. In all honesty, I thought we'd see more of Wilfred the Goalscorer after 2017:
  21. A big thank you to Chelsea for splashing the cash on KDH in July 2024. Made a profit plus of £2m compared to Everton. Give it another failed season and he'll be back here in no time – at a bargain price.
  22. I was expecting more from Fiorentina, I didn't know they were that far behind in pre-season. If it hadn't been for Fatawu, this could've gone the other way rather quickly. In the end, it was a fairly and surprisingly easy friendly from a Leicester perspective. Did Fiorentina even have a single shot on goal? I'm hoping that Wednesday will show up this weekend and that the match won't be called off.
  23. Wilfred Ndidi, the man who regularly won most balls back. Mainly because he had lost them in a majority beforehand. Getting a transfer fee in at this point of his (fading) career is nothing short of a miracle.
