  1. How lucky we are to have witnessed his career in a general sense, let alone watching him do this for our club. Legend.
  2. For a long time two of our most famous residents were the elephant and and Daniel Lambert
  3. They've had an absolutely storming season after coming up from L1 and are unlucky to face two relegated sides with far superior resources. Any other season and they'd be up near enough without a hitch. I'd be bitter
  4. This is another episode of the LCFC management are just bad at their jobs. People like to ascribe all sorts of other reasons to their incompetence - they’re just bad. Lots of people need replacing. Half of the club is running on League 1 firmware still. E.g the ticket office. I’m starting to think our business practises might be suffering from being ran by a company who were granted a royal concession made up of a captive audience.
  5. His stats are underwhelming really. Seems like he gets into the box well but that's about it. Although we need bodies such is our ridiculous contract situation. We only have 4 CMs contracted into next season. KDH, Winks, Choudhury and Soumare. The latter two aren't good enough, KDH could well leave anyway.
  6. The rent seeking and cash grabs are pitiful when you consider they're a drop in the ocean. Get a shrewd DoF and board in to stop us wasting millions. If they're that hard up f uck the clappers off 🇰🇵
  7. Only so many ways I can say fantastic as always @kushiro
  8. Mike has been an inspired signing so far
  9. Guinness market themselves well, it’s become the go to event beer. It also looks aesthetically pleasing, tastes well, has a bit of a mythology about it (you just have to let it settle - bollocks). The split the G challenge and shit London Guinness stuff as mentioned has all helped push it too. The lower ABV makes it easy drinking as well.
  10. John’s House is incredible. Well worth the money, food, service, atmosphere all more than met my expectations.
  11. I took the Norwegian lot there once not realising it was veggie but we all raved about it - unexpectedly.
  12. It’s probably overkill these changes but replays in most cases are crap. They’re romanticised too much because people think of a minnow taking a much bigger side to a replay but that essentially never happens. The median replay is a crap game between two clubs in the same division, nobody wants those. Maybe no replays between teams in the same division would make better sense. Underdogs have a much better chance of going through over one game too. The absolutely shit thing is that it’s been done for the terrible revamped UEFA competition format.
  13. We've always been looked after by East Asia
  14. Obviously not. He thinks the problem is the execution but tactically it just isn't working. He can complain about the players all he wants but he's set them up to fail. The system has been found out, player performance isn't what is letting the system down.
  15. It’s an interesting scheme but that’s more Welford rd (in spirit) in my mind than the area I was thinking of
  16. It’s a shame the Georgian-built area between Victoria park, the university and King St doesn’t have more amenities. Its primarily resi and offices, the little squares would be great for cafes and restaurants.
  17. And we could actually get a fee for him
  18. It's quite telling he took cabbage soup brigade so personally
  19. It's already taxed heavily and fewer people smoke YoY anyway. It's a typically petty authoritarian Sunakite policy like forcing all A level students to study maths until 18. It's and politics too because nobody is won over by this.
  20. Experience and ability have a weak positive correlation. The OP is essentially saying that people improve linearly at things - managers peak at different times. The good managers are almost always good straight away, they don't take years and years to develop. Guardiola, Ancelotti, Mourinho, Ferguson were all near or were instant successes.
  21. Even if it's true - having a go at the players is wrongheaded. If they're to play this programatic football, like the manager asks, they're going to struggle. It's like kicking your cat because it's not your dog.
  22. It’s a disgraceful relegation. The lack of accountability and financial mismanagement are both disgraceful too. Conclusion = disgrace
  23. Totally different audiences, K’OB’s proprietors seem to think Leicester is a student city like Nottingham or Sheffield are.
  24. It's so telling a player as talented as Abdul has 3 goals in 43 league appearances this season. It's pig headedness to insist on having him so far away from the goal
  25. Let Ricardo overlap and underlap Fatawu, he's our most mercurial player so we should support him instead of marrying him on the right up against two players. Additionally with Ricardo pushing on it means he can maintain the width and AIF can be more of a goal threat and create more havoc.
