If you're on this forum your IQ is at the very least in the top 50th percentile. Everybody jokes FT is full of thickos but the vast majority of posters can string a sentence together. Stupid people can barely write coherently.

I am sympathetic to this point of view

It was partly because we didn't have the means to spend big anyway, we splashed out (at the time) on Ulloa and Kramaric, I think Pearson would have pushed the boat out for the right players. However you do get the sense he'd have preferred to run lean recruitment anyway. Brighton have proved they you can find undervalued players in the lesser scoured markets. Post-Puel/Macia our recruitment was a lot shallower and we've never really recovered. Fatawu was a great pick up though (expensive) so maybe there's green shoots.
-
We proved that with strong recruitment, the right people in the right seats that you don't have to spend silly amounts on wages to compete, then we started spending haphazardly on wages anyway

12/1 with Betvictor to win the 2nd division, I'll have a tenner on that I think

McKenna has performed miracles at Ipswich. With the squad and budgets we have they should be nowhere near us - he's only managed about 65 more games than Maresca too.

Leicester 1-0 Sunderland Post Match Thread.

We drop off far too much when ahead. Leeds didn’t stop after going ahead against us -
Fatawu is the best defensive winger we’ve had

The club have done nothing and in some ways actively discouraged new fans in the ground. STs are so scarce so people don't give them up and you get banned for passing them on. It all culminates in people being fed up e.g leaving early but not letting their ST go because you're never getting it back. If they gave memberships more features like guaranteed games and discounted tickets more people might pick them up, instead they're just a cash grab. If you could transfer your ST more often, 6 or 7 times, even. Then it can be passed onto fans who do want to be there or can make it. What's just so telling is the club are barely aware of the issues and worse still not bothered about fixing it. Look at the away ticket issue, this has been going on for 7 or 8 years and they're not bothered about it.

Our club make us pick up tickets and show your ID, he had a ticket in someone else's name. I just changed the ticket to match his name.

The ground is just agedly at the minute, if the club want to improve they need to facilitate moving the singers and standers on together. There's what 2k home standers across L1, K1, G1, SK1-4 but they're too far way to sing in unison. The club need lobbying into it other it's from the fans or the SGSA, we have to take the opportunity safe standing provides ad not let them implement another halfway house like SK1 now. They need to open a new section and move the existing fans out.

I just changed the name on the original PDF for my mate at Roma, cost him 15 cents to get it printed at a print shop, surely the cheapest non-free European semi-final ticket ever.

Leicester 'could face points deduction next season'
Stadt replied to ClaphamFox's topic in Leicester City Forum
The 'we had to spend to chase the big 6' line doesn't stand up to much scrutiny wrt transfer fees. We've spent about £140 since 2019 (excluding this season) and only 3 of those players were nailed on starters in the PL. Our ridiculous wage bill has been the problem because we overpay and subsequently can't shift players, then loads left on frees further weakening our financial position. Top, Rudkin and Whelan can't negotiate running a club in 2024 and Top's too weka or too stupid to do anything about it. -

The two tower blocks built next to it are abysmal, any visitor arriving fro,, the station is created by two whopping eyesores - better still we're pivoting the station entrance around so the two eyesore are even more prominent! -
Are we bottlers and do we have a weak mentality?
Stadt replied to Sly's topic in Leicester City Forum
It’s very unedifying to buy into this narrative as fans, the more we believe it the more it feeds into the club and the players, it becomes self-fulfilling. Bottling surely has a shelf life too - this squad is what, 25% similar to 2021? It’s almost like some of our fans want the tag. -
His decision making is f ucking garbage. At Ipswich A he constantly tried to rush things and initiate a counter when it was the wrong option - he did it so often it killed our attacks time and time again. Yesterday he was more interested in trying to beat his man with tricks than trying to cross. 35 apps and 4 assists, 53rd percentile for xA - for a side top of the league that’s a dismal return. Crap for weeks, if we contrive to finish 2nd or 3rd, he’ll be one of the most culpable players.

Did we bottle the league title or the cup? No. You can’t look at everything we’ve bottled without factoring in everything we haven’t. There’s a lot of football to be played yet. -
Went to Wild Tango on Friday night. The food was excellent but it was troubling quiet for a new place and the staff are very green.

The murals painted in the concourses added a good splash of colour but nothing has really happened since, what 2017? Expansion is a perennial 2 or 3 years away, we can't kick the can down the road forever. It'll be 'we need to secure our PL position', 'Our PL situation is not yet sceured' 'We'll expand when we have further strengthened our PL position' 'We need European revenues to expand' Relegated again 'We need to secure our PL position to expand'

Off Catherine st and Cobden st

His ability to drop deep and drag opposition CBs out of shape is amazing. Fantastic false 9 play
-
He was poor in the first half but he grew into the game monstrously. His ball carrying and passing have developed ever so well.

I prefer Tonne for the beer although their prices creep up seemingly every time you go
